How to set the quick timer?

Select T1 or T2 with the selection keys, then use the HR, MIN and SEC keys to set the duration. Press START/STOP to start the countdown.

How to use the stopwatch?

Select T1 or T2, press START/STOP to start. Press again to stop. To reset, stop then press HR and MIN simultaneously.

How to save a duration in memory?

Select T1 or T2, stop and reset. Hold down the M button until the display flashes, set the duration then press M to save. To recall, press M then START/STOP.

How to change the sound volume?

Use the slide switch on the side of the device. Three positions: HIGH (loud), LOW (low), OFF (no sound, only visual flashing).

What to do if the device does not turn on?

Check that the batteries are not discharged or inserted incorrectly. Replace with two new LR03/R03 (AAA) batteries respecting polarity (+/-).

How to attach the timer to a surface?

You have three options: use the magnets on the back on a metal surface (e.g., refrigerator), fold the hanging eyelet to hang on a nail, or unfold the stand to place on a work surface.

Safety

- This product may be used by children aged 8 and above, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities or lacking experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the risks that may arise.

• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are being supervised.
• Batteries, when swallowed, can be life-threatening. Keep the product and batteries out of reach of small children. If batteries have been swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

DANGER for children

- Keep children away from packaging material. There is a risk of choking if swallowed.

RISK of fire/burning and/or explosion

• There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced improperly. Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent battery type. Observe the “Technical data”.
• Batteries must not be recharged, reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited. Otherwise, there is an increased risk of explosion and leakage; furthermore, gases may escape!
• Avoid contact of the battery fluid with skin, eyes, and mucosa. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor.

BEWARE of material damage

• Protect the timer from strong shocks, vibrations, and moisture.
• Remove the batteries from the product if they are depleted or if the timer is not to be used for a while. This prevents damage that may be caused by leakage.
• When inserting and changing batteries, pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).

• Do not expose the batteries to extreme conditions, for example, by storing them on radiators or under direct sunlight. Increased risk of leakage!

• Clean the battery and device contacts, as needed, before inserting the battery.

• Do not make any changes to the product. Only allow repairs to be carried out by a specialist workshop. Repairs carried out improperly can considerably endanger the user.

Start-up

Inserting/changing the battery

1. Slide the battery compartment cover towards OPEN and remove it.

2. Insert the batteries as shown on the bottom of the battery compartment. Observe the correct polarity (+/-).

3. Replace the battery compartment cover. Notes on changing the battery:

- You need to change the batteries if the display shows nothing.

- Only use the battery type specified in the "Technical Data".

• Always change all batteries at once.
• Dispose of old batteries in an environmentally friendly manner, see "Disposal".

Securing the timer

NOTE on material damage

Do not slide the timer over the surface as this could cause scratches.

• Attach the timer with the magnet on its back to a metallic surface such as a fridge door.
• Alternatively, hang the timer on a nail in the wall using the foldable hanging loop.
• Third option: set up the timer on a countertop using the foldable foot.

Using the timer

When timing, you start a countdown. The timer enables to perform two measurements simultaneously, which are set and operated in exactly the same way.

Max. adjustable time: 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

1. Use the timer selection buttons to toggle the display between "T1" or "T2" (follow the display).
2. Use HR, MIN, and SEC to set the duration of the short-time measurement.
   Keeping HR, MIN or SEC pressed speeds up the progress of displayed values.
3. Press START/STOP to start the timer.
   The edging of the respective timer selection button flashes green.
   Once the set time has elapsed, the timer will beep for approx. 1 minute.

1. Press START/STOP to interrupt beeps or flashing, or wait approx. 1 minute until the timer automatically stops to beep.

Instructions for use:

• Via START/STOP you can interrupt the countdown at any time and then start it running again.
• To reset the timer back to zero, press START/STOP to stop it and then press HR and MIN simultaneously.
• Symbol displayed during countdown.

Using the stopwatch function

The timer enables to perform two measurements simultaneously, which are handled in exactly the same way.

Max. time measurement: 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

1. Use the timer selection buttons to toggle the display between T1 or T2 (follow the display).

2. Press HR and MIN simultaneously to reset the display to zero.

3. Press START/STOP to start the timer.

Instructions for use:

• With START/STOP you can interrupt the timer at any time and resume it.

• To reset the display back to zero, press START/STOP to stop the timer and then press HR and MIN simultaneously.

• Symbol displayed while the timer is running: ▲.

• Seconds are displayed as 1/100 only in the first hour of timing, then as whole seconds.

Memory function

If you often use the same time period for a countdown, you can save it and call it up later with the push of a button.

You can save a different duration for each timer.

1. Use the timer selection buttons to toggle between "T1" or "T2" (follow the display).
2. You can interrupt the running timer with START/STOP and reset it to zero with HR and MIN.

3. Keep the M button pressed until the display flashes.

4. Use HR, MIN and SEC to set the time period you wish to save.

5. Press the M button to save the settings. To call up the setting at a later time:

6. Select the timer ("T1" or "T2").

7. Press M.

8. Press START/STOP.

To delete the M value:

1. Display the M value.

2. Press HR and MIN simultaneously.

3. Enter a new value, if necessary, and press M.

Other functions

Combining functions

You can also combine the “Short-time measurement” and “Stopwatch” functions by performing a short-time measurement with

Timer 1 and using the stopwatch function with Timer 2 at the same time.

Adjusting the beep volume

- Use the slide switch on the side to set the desired beep volume:

HIGH - maximum volume

LOW - low volume

OFF - no beeping, only visual display with the edging of the selection buttons for timer 1 or 2 flashing red.

Cleaning

NOTE on material damage

Do not immerse the timer in water or other liquids. Do not use rough, scratching or abrasive cleaning agents.

- If necessary, remove dust with a soft, dry cloth, or wipe with a slightly damp cloth.

Fault and remedy

No function.

- Are the batteries empty or inserted the wrong way around?

The START/STOP button seems to have no function.

- Probably, both timers are running. First press the timer selection button, then press START/STOP.

Disposing of the packaging

Dispose of the packaging according to type. Dispose of cardboard with waste paper and of films with recyclable materials.
