How to set the time on my TECHNOLINE WS 8130 clock?

Press the SET button to enter setting mode. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour, minutes, 12/24h format, year, month, date, and language. Press SET to confirm and proceed to the next step.

Can I use only batteries without the power adapter?

Yes, the clock can operate with 2 AA batteries (not included) inserted in the back compartment. However, the power adapter is recommended for continuous use.

How to change the display language for days and months?

In setting mode, after setting the date, you can choose among English, German, or French using the + or - buttons.

What to do if the displayed time is incorrect or the clock does not work?

Unplug the DC jack on the back, remove the batteries, then reconnect the adapter and reinsert the batteries with correct polarity. Default settings will be restored, you will need to reset them.

Does the backlight automatically turn off at night?

Yes, the clock has a light sensor on top. When the environment is dark, the backlight switches to low intensity to avoid glare.

What type of batteries to use?

Use only non-rechargeable alkaline AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, and observe polarity.

How to clean my clock?

Unplug the device. Use a soft cloth dampened with soapy water. Do not use harsh chemicals like thinner or benzene.

Can I use a different power adapter than the one supplied?

No, use only the original adapter (model HX075B-0501200-AG-001, 5V-1.2A). Another adapter could damage the clock.

Does the clock display the outdoor temperature?

No, the displayed temperature is that of the room where the clock is located. The sensor is built into the device.

What to do in case of a power failure? Does the clock retain the time?

If batteries are installed, the clock retains the time and settings during a power outage. Without batteries, the clock will reset.

INSTALLATION

Insert the 5V power cord into an outlet, then into the middle back of clock. Remarks: Make sure the original adaptor (HX075B-0501200-AG-001, 5V-1.2A) enclosed with your clock is being used to power your clock. Using other adaptors may damage your clock.

Optional: insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment for backup.

SETTINGS MENU

• Press the SET button to enter the setting mode and the setting order will start with the hour:
  Hour → Minute "→ 12/24 hour time display → Year → Month → Date → Language (English, German, French)
• Press the + or the - button to adjust values during setting mode. Hold the + or the - button to quickly adjust setting values.
• Press the SET button to confirm and move to next item or exit.

Note: your clock will exit the settings menu when no further buttons are pressed for 10 seconds.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY

The temperature shows on the lower right side in Celsius temperature.

AUTOMATIC LIGHT SENSOR

Your clock is equipped with an automatic light sensor at the top of the front case. The brightness of backlight will be adjusted to lower level when your room environment is dim.

Note: Please keep your clock at least 60-cm distance away from any objects on top.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

If your clock displays wrong time or does not function properly, which maybe caused by electro-static discharge or other interference. Unplug the DC jack at the back of the unit, slide open the battery cover and take out the batteries. Then re-plug the DC jack and reinstall batteries by observing the correct +/- polarity. Your unit will be reset to default settings and you need to set it again.

CARE OF YOUR PRODUCT

- Place your unit on a stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat or moisture.

• Protect your furniture when placing your units on a natural wood and lacquered finish by using a cloth or protective material between it and the furniture.
• Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as Benzine, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
• If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged period, such as a month or longer, remove the batteries to prevent possible corrosion. Should the battery compartment become corroded or dirty, clean the compartment thoroughly and replace the batteries.
• Do not plug in any other AC/AC or AC/DC adaptor with incorrect specifications or voltage.
