SAFETY - RELATED INFORMATION
- Read these instructions carefully.
- Keep the instructions for further consultation.
- Pay attention to all recommendations.
- Follow all the instructions.
- Do not use the appliance near water.
- Clean using a dry cloth only.
- Do not install the appliance near to heat sources, such as heaters, hot air vents, stoves or other appliances that generate heat.
- Only use optional devices/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
- Disconnect the appliance during storms o if left “at rest” for prolonged periods of time.
- All maintenance interventions must be performed by qualied after-sales personnel. The after-sales service must be contacted in the event of any damage, e.g. damage to the power supply cable, spilled liquids, exposure of the appliance to rain or humidity, abnormal operation or damage following a fall.
- Do not expose the appliance to dripping or sprays and do not place recipients containing liquids, such as vases, on the appliance.
- To disconnect the appliance completely from the mains network, remove the power supply plug from the socket.
- The power supply cable current socket must be easily accessible.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Follow the connection diagram suggested in the instruction manual. If in doubt, contact your dealer.
- The wireless transmitters generate an electromagnetic eld that is harmless to humans and pets, but can compromise the proper functionality of electronic equipment, such as CRT monitors or TVs, when placed in close proximity. If this occurs, simply and slowly distance one appliance from the other. As a further precaution, it is not advisable to place credit cards or similar magnetically read objects on top of the appliance. WARRANTY The Sonus faber wireless transmitters are designed and manufactured according to the highest quality standards. Should however a fault or a malfunction occur, the products are covered by warranty, in compliance with the regulations in force in the country where the loudspeakers were purchased. In such cases, please contact the Sonus faber dealer where you made the purchase and refer to the relevant regulation. In addition and for your convenience please remember:
- to keep the receipt that proves you have purchased the loudspeaker, which receipt you will exhibit to the dealer in case of need;
- that the product in need of repair should be returned in their original packaging in order to be shipped safely, together with a description of the malfunction or defect noticed by the customer;
- the guarantee covers the products for any construction faults as long as they have not been dismantled, modied, tampered with or used for purposes or in ways that have not been outlined in this manual.16 17
SONUS FABER TRANSMITTER
1. Power supply input voltage (7.5 Vdc).
2. Line inputs: the use of an RCA cable (mono or stereo) allows the Transmitter
to be connected to the line output of a stereo amplier, an audio-video player (DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) or a home theatre controller /pre-amplier, etc.
3. Pairing : to use during the installation procedure. Hold down - usually for
approx. 5 seconds - until the LED starts to ash. When this occurs, press - within maximum 30 seconds - the corresponding pairing button on the Sonus faber subwoofer panel (only models with integrated receiver). The radio contact will be established when the LEDs stop ashing. The LED switches off once the connection is activated.
4. LED (Light indicator) : if xed light, it indicates that the unit is powered and
paired with the receiver. The LED ashes during the pairing procedure or if the radio connection is not yet established.18 19

The user is responsible for bringing the equipment to an appropriate waste collection facility at the end of its service life. The separate disposal of the decommissioned equipment for recycling, treatment and disposal in compliance with the current environmental protection regulations will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, and will allow for the recycling of the materials and components of which the product is comprised.
