  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • With any indication of malfunction, contact service center repairs. Do not attempt to disassemble the product or replace faulty parts with unauthorized components because it will damage the unit.

Note: When using the device for the rst time, the water may have a slight smell and discoloration. This is normal and not harmful for your health. correspond to the voltage of the device. Filling the water tank Note: Always remove the plug when lling the water tank. Preferably use clean tap- or distilled water to prevent bacteria and scale inside the water tank. Please add water to water tank before using the device according to the steps below: Remove the power plug and take out the water tank by pulling the handle on the back side Fill the water tank with tap water Place back the water tank until you hear a click feedback You may now switch on the device.

With every touch it will increase with 10% in the following order: 40% > 50% > 60% > 70% > CO (continuous). Using continuous mode will deactivate the hygrostat and the device will run at continuous speed. When the hygrostat is set above the actual humidity, the device will operate in high speed until the desired humidity has been reached. When the hygrostat is set below the actual humidity, the device will not humidify. After setting the hygrostat, the display will show the ambient humidity. Timer Press the button to activate the timer setting. With every touch the timer will increase with one hour in the following sequence: 1h > 2h > 3h > 4h > 5h > 6h > 7h > 8h > 9h > 10h > 11h > 12h > 00h (o). Once the timer is activated, the device will automatically shut down after the set timer has been completed. Night mode Press the button to activate night mode. Once pressed, the LED matrix display will show “ZZZ” for 5 seconds. In night mode, all buttons are disabled except the night mode and power button. The device will operate in SL (slow) speed mode. Power Touch the button to switch on the device. After turning on the device, the LED matrix display will light up for 1 second and shows “Hi!” for 2 seconds after which it will display the current status followed by the ambient humidity. When you turn on the device for the rst time, it will activate medium wind speed and turn to low wind speed after 3 seconds. The humidication setting will remain active. Touch the POWER button again to put the device in stand by followed by a conformation beep. The LED matrix will show “OFF” and turn o the device in 2 seconds. Humidity output / wind speed When you turn on the device for the rst time, it will activate medium wind speed. Touch the button to switch between wind speeds. The LED matrix display will show the corresponding wind speed in SL (slow), LO (low), MI (medium) and HI (high). Hygrostat Touch the button to set the desired ambient humidity. When you turn on the device for the rst time, the continuous mode will be activated. You

Press the button again to deactivate night mode. The LED matrix display will show “ZZZ” and go back into normal operation mode according to the hygrostat setting. Dry run protection After turning on the device it will check for 1 second if there is sucient water remaining in the water tank. In case of lack of water, the device will activate dry run protection mode and the motor will stop working. The LED matrix display will show “NO!” and “Lo” alternating every second. In this mode, all buttons are disabled except the power button. Please turn o the device, ll the water tank and press the power button to switch on the device again. Note: It may take a couple of seconds before the water from the water tank lls up the water tray. You will hear a water dripping sound, which is normal. Once the device has recognized the water tray is lled, it will start operating.1110 Water tank & Water tray Pull out the power plug and take out the water tray and water tank. Use a dry or damped cloth to wipe the dirt and rinse with water to clean. Discs Pull out the power plug and take out water tank. Then you are able to remove the water tray. Take out the disc assembly and remove the disk one by one like below picture. The total amount of discs is 20 pieces. Use the supplied brush to wipe clean of dirt and dry in the air. Note: We do not recommend cleaning the discs in a dishwasher. Silver-ion cartridge The silver-ion cartridge reduces the growth of bacteria and fungus inside the water tank. The cartridge is located underneath the water tank cap and should be replaced every 6 months. Please check duux.com for replacement silver-ion cartridges (art. no. DXAWC03). Important: Be sure to remove the power plug from the outlet before carrying out maintenance. Important: Do not soak or immerse the power plug or the device in water. Important: We recommend daily maintenance to prevent the growth of bacteria and scale inside the water tank. Water replacement As the air is cleaned in the water tray, it will become dirty over time. That’s why we recommend replacing the water in the water tank every day. Cleaning

  • Please use soft cloth to wipe the dust on the body; If the surface is too dirty, it is better to wipe it clean with a damped cloth mixed with neutral detergent.
  • Don’t use gasoline, thinner and any others chemical substances as it will damage the surface.
  • Never clean with boiled water or put in dishwasher

Carbon lter If there is too much dust on the carbon lter it may inuence the air washer eciency. We recommend cleaning the lter every month. Remove the side outlet and take out the carbon lter. Use a vacuum cleaner with soft brush extension to clean the carbon lter. Never use liquid cleaner or water to clean! The carbon lter lifespan 3600 hours (approx. 1 year). Please check duux.com for replacement carbon lters (art. no. DXAWF03).

Installation after maintenance Place back the carbon lter, air inlet, water tray, discs, water tank one by one and make sure to install them correctly and in this sequence. How often should I replace my lter? The activated carbon lter should be replaced after 3600 hours (approx. 1 year). The silver ion cartridges needs to be replaced after 6 months. The device shows “Hi!” and followed by Lo / NO! What’s wrong? Water supply is needed. Please supply water by lling the water tank. Can I clean the disk lters in the dishwasher? We do not recommend cleaning the discs in a dishwasher. I don’t see any mist coming out of the device, even when the power is connected. This device humidies using evaporation. Evaporative types of humidiers humidify without generating a mist hence there will be no visible mist.

The device doesn’t seem to humidify. What’s wrong? Please check if the hygrostat setting is above the actual humidity. Otherwise the device will not humidify. The air smells strange.
