How to turn the MP1820BT player on and off?

To turn on, press and hold the Play/Pause button (button /6) for about 2 seconds. To turn off, hold the same button until the screen turns off.

How to charge the battery for the first time?

Before first use, charge the player for at least 8 hours using the provided micro USB cable. Connect it to a USB charger (5V) or a computer.

How to connect the player to a Bluetooth device?

Go to the Bluetooth menu, select Enable Bluetooth. Then choose Device Search and select the name of the Bluetooth device to connect. The connection is automatic once the device is detected.

What audio and video formats are supported?

Audio formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE. Video formats: AMV. Image formats: JPG, BMP, GIF.

How to record a voice memo?

Select Recordings in the main menu, then press the Play/Pause button to start. Press again to pause, and hold the button to save and exit.

How to read e-book (text) files?

In the main menu, choose E-book. Browse text files (.txt) with the Previous/Next buttons, select a file with the Play/Pause button to open. You can add bookmarks and set auto-scroll.

What to do if the player becomes unresponsive?

Try resetting the device by holding the Play/Pause button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, connect it to a computer to check the charge or perform a format via the Settings menu (note: all data will be erased).

How to format the player?

Go to Settings > Format device. Confirm the action. Caution: this operation erases all data. Make sure you have a backup.

What is the internal memory capacity?

The player has an internal Flash memory of 4 GB. There is no slot for an external memory card.

How to adjust the volume or skip to the next track?

Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to adjust the volume. During playback, briefly press Next to skip to the next track, or hold for fast forward. The Previous button returns to the previous track or rewinds quickly.

Pictures

To view pictures, select Pictures from the main menu and press H0 button to enter the photo browser.

1. Use the PRE or NEXT button to scroll through the ROOT folder and select a photo you would like to view, and press the button.
2. Use the PRE or NEXT button to scroll through your pictures.
3. Press the button to return to the ROOT folder.

While in the ROOT folder, long press the button to access the photo menu where you can select from the following options.

Recordings

To record voice memos, select Recordings from the main menu and press the button to enter the recording mode.

1. Press the button to start recording.

2. To pause the recording, press the button again.

3. To save the recording and exit to the main menu, press the button.

If "Capacity is full" is shown on the display, it means no space for saving the recorded files, need to delete other documents to release space.

If "Content is full" is shown on the display, it means there are 99 files in this folder, and case change to other folder for saving.

32K BPS	Wav format. Average sound quality.

Play

To play back recorded voice memos, select Recordings library from the main menu and press the button to enter the voice memos mode.

2. Use the PRE or NEXT button to scroll through your texts.
3. Press the button to return to the ROOT folder.

While in ROOT folder, long press the button to access the e-book menu where you can select from the following options.

Turn on the Bluetooth device you hope to connect with, the player will show the Bluetooth device name and then conned it. After connected, the Bluetooth device will play the songs which the mp4 player plays.
