Before operating this unit, please read these instructions completely and save them for future use.
WARNING
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, the installation of residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
- The symbol on the right means suitable for cleaning under an open water tap.
Detach the main body from the AC adaptor before cleaning it in water.

The following persons should not use this appliance: Persons with skin allergies
- Individuals with skin diseases or atopic dermatitis
- Persons who are easily supplurated
- Persons suffering from varicose veins, hemophilia, etc.
- Persons who have trouble stopping bleeding

Do not use the appliance in the following areas or following cases:

When your feet wet
- When you do not feel well
After drinking alcohol or taking medicine - When you are very tired
- When you feel an abnormality in your skin or body
- Injury, rash, moles, bruises, warts, pimples, etc.

On suntanned skin

Do not use appliance in the following ways:
Filing too deeply - Letting the Ile touch soft skin
- Using the appliance on blisters and corns.
- Doing so may cause problems with the skin.
- Check that the le is free from deformities, cracks, and damage.
- Consult a doctor before using in the following cases:
Diabetes
People suffering from poor circulation in the feet
- Swelling, itchiness, pain
- If skin appears abnormal, stop using the appliance and consult a dermatologist.
- File the hardened skin little by little over a few days.
- File only calluses or hardened skin on your feet.
- Failure to do so may cause injury to the skin.
Note the following precautions
- Store the appliance with the protection cap attached.
- Failure to do so may cause damage to surrounding items.
- Do not share with your family or other people.
- Doing so may result in infection or inflammation.

How to use
- Clean the appliance after use.
1 Mount the head to the main body until it clicks.
2 Turn on the power.
3 After use, moisturize the skin with lotion etc.
Note
The use time after a full charge is as follows.
ER-CBL1: Approximately 40 minutes
ER-CBN1: Approximately 30 minutes
(Based on dry using at 20^ - 30^ )
The operating time may differ depending on the frequency of use and the operating method.
Removing and mounting the head (Fig. 2)
- Make sure that the main body is turned off.
Remove the head while pushing the head release button (a).
- Stand the head when it is removed.
Mount the head to the main body until it clicks.
Filing
Use the product only for filing calluses and hardened skin on the feet.
- It is recommended to use the product within 30 minutes after bathing or showering. Wipe off any water on the feet and use with clean condition.
- Use within 5 minutes on each foot.
Move in the direction indicated by the arrows. (Fig. 3-1)
- Rotation of the file may cause the main body to move in an unexpected direction, be careful of the direction in which the main body moves.
- Use your free hand for support. (Fig. 3-2)
Precautions when filling
- Filing an area too deeply can result in larger calluses forming, so be sure to leave some of the hardened layer. Also cause it to become sore or inflamed.

- Filing a single location for a long time can cause heat due to friction. To avoid this, be sure to make small changes in the filing position while filing.
- File about once every two weeks.
Maintenance
Make sure that the main body is turned off.
After cleaning, store the head with the protective cap attached
How to clean
1 Wet the file, put on the hand soap, turn on the power for a few seconds and then turn off. (Fig. 4-1)
2 Remove the head and frame.
3 Rinse them with running water. (Fig. 4-2)
Thoroughly rinse the inner of frame.
4 Shake up and down several times to remove the water.
5 Wipe off the water with a dry cloth and dry it well. Notes
- Do not wipe with thinner, benzine, alcohol etc. Doing so may cause malfunction, cracking or discoloring of the parts.
- Store the appliance in a place with low humidity after use.
Removing and mounting the frame
Press the frame release buttons and pull up the frame. (Fig. 5-1)
Mount the frame to the head until it clicks. (Fig. 5-2)
Removing and mounting the file
To remove the file, press down with your finger and release the file. (Fig. 6-1)
To mount the file, align the shaped part with the mark side and press down. (Fig. 6-2)
Lifetime is approximately 1 year (assuming a single use every 2 weeks with approximately 10 minutes per use).
Troubleshooting
Problem Action
The appliance does not operate.
The appliance stops during operation.
Cannot file
Cannot get rid of odor.
If the problems still cannot be solved, contact your dealer or a service centre authorized by Panasonic for repair.
Reattach the frame.
Contact to skin with gentle force.
The file is worn out. Contact an authorize service centre and buy it.
Soak the file in water for approximately 24 hours before washing.
