Safety instructions

- Mains connection: The voltage must comply with that shown on the appliance label.

- Never pull on the mains cable / with damp hands. Disconnect mains plug in case of faults during use, prior to cleaning, relocation, after use. The plug must be within reach at all times.

- Regulatory check if the power cable / appliance / extension lead is defective. Never switch on damaged appliances (incl. mains lead) — have repairs carried out / obtain replacement from the manufacturer, the manufacturer's service point or from qualified experts. Never open the appliance yourself — risk of injury!

- Never carry or pull the appliance by the flex. Don't pull the flex over sharp edges. Don't wedge it. Don't bend it. A short circuit can occur if the cable breaks.

- Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the mains when it is not in use. Don't wind the flex around the appliance.

- Never immerse appliance in water / other fluids. Danger of short-circuiting!

- Do not use this appliance near the water (bath-tubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain or other humidity. Ensure hands are dry when using appliance!

- Should however the appliance fall into water, only take it out after pulling the plug. Do not use the appliance anymore. It has to be checked by an authorized service department first.

• Children aged 8 years or over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience or knowledge may only use the appliance if they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or if they have been shown how to use the appliance safely and they have understood the risks inherent in its use. Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its power cable out of reach of children aged under 8. Never leave the appliance un attended while in operation.
• Keep packaging (e.g. plastic bags) away from children.
• Never place the appliance / cable on hot surfaces or near open flames. Do not store / expose the appliance to intense heat (from radiators, prolonged sunshine).
• Do not use attachments not recommended / sold by the manufacturer.
• The appliance is designed for household use and not for industrial operation. Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
• Use the appliance on a dry, even, stable and heat resistant surface. Allow appliance to cool before storing away.

Safety instructions

- Only trained experts should repair electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.

- No warranty for any damage can be accepted if the appliance is used for improper purpose, wrongly operated or unprofessionally repaired. In such a case, any warranty claim is void.

• The appliance is not intended to be operated or connected to an external timer or separate remote control switch.
• Never place fingers or objects into appliance openings. Do not cover appliance opening.
• The appliance will become very hot during use – Do not touch, otherwise you may burn yourself.
• A heat-resistant cloth (cotton) under the appliance base prevents stains on the table.

Disposal

• Make worn out appliances unusable. Pull out the mains plug and sever the cord.
  • Electric appliances are to be returned to a shop of sale or handed over to an official dump.
• No household waste. Must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Feucht abwischen, trocknen lassen. Keine Lösungsmittel verwenden. Essuyer avec un chiffon humide et laisser sécher. Ne pas employer de solvants. Pulire con un panno umido e poi lasciare asciugare. Non usare mai soluzioni contenti acidi. Can be wiped with a damp cloth, then dried. Do not use scourers or solvents. Limpiarlo con un paño húmedo y dejarlo secar. No utilizar disolventes.

Mit heissem Spülwasser waschen, nachtrocknen. Laver à l'eau chaude avant de bien sécher. Lavare con acqua calda, poi asciugare. Wash with hot dishwater, then dry. Limpiar con agua caliente y secar.

Grillplatte und Pfännchen nie für längere Zeit im Wasser lassen. Ne jamais laisser tremper la plaque de gril et les poêlons trop longtemps dans l'eau. Non lasciare mai per troppo tempo la piastra per grigliare e i tegamini in acqua. Never allow the grill plate and pans to remain in water for a long time. Nunca dejar la placa del grill y las sartenes pequeñas durante demasiado tiempo en el agua.

Gli scarti si bruciano. Odori / fumo e possibile — aprire una finestra! Residue from manufacturers is burned. Smell / smoke may develop — open a window! Los residuos de fabricación se queman. Es posible que se formen olores / humo. ¡Ventilar!

Heizplatte wird sehr heiss — Verbrennungsgefahr. La plaque chauffante est brûlante — risque de brûlure. La piastra di riscaldamento diventa particolarmente calda: pericolo di ustione. Hotplate becomes very hot — danger of burning. La placa calentadora se calienta mucho.

Gebrauchtes Pfännchen / Spachtel nie auf die Grillplatte legen — Lebensmittelreste brennen an. Ne jamais poser les coupelles ou la spatule utilisés sur la plaque de gril — Les restes d'aliments brûlent. Mai posare sulla piastra per grigliare i tegamini / la spatola dopo l'uso: i resti dei cibi si bruciano. Never place used pans / spatula on the grill plate — any food left on them will burn. Nunca se deben colocar sartenes / espátulas usadas sobre la plancha de piedra — los restos de comida se queman.
