What type of batteries to use for the Gigaset Siren siren?

Use 3.0 V primary lithium batteries of type CR123A or CR17345. Do not use other types of batteries.

How to install the Gigaset Siren siren?

Fix the siren using the supplied adhesive tapes or screws. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease. Optimal adhesion is achieved after 48 hours. For more details, refer to the 'Getting Started' leaflet.

What is the range of the siren?

The range is up to 300 meters outdoors and up to 50 meters inside a building.

How to clean the Gigaset Siren siren?

Wipe the device with a damp cloth or an antistatic cloth. Do not use solvents, microfiber cloth, or a dry cloth to avoid static charges.

Is the Gigaset Siren siren waterproof?

No, it is not protected against water splashes. Install it only in dry rooms (not in bathrooms or showers).

What is the warranty period?

The warranty is 24 months for manufacturing defects. Wear parts (e.g., housing) are covered for 6 months. Batteries are not covered.

Does the siren work alone or does it require a pack?

The siren is an extension of the Gigaset Elements security pack. The pack must be installed and ready to use the siren.

What to do if the siren has been in contact with a liquid?

Unplug the device or remove the battery, let the liquid drain, dry with an absorbent cloth, then place the device in a warm, dry place for at least 72 hours before turning it back on.

How to dispose of the siren at the end of its life?

Do not throw the device in household waste. Follow local regulations for electronic waste disposal. Contact your local council or recycling center.
