Pull the crown to position III (the second hand stops). Turn the crown to display the desired time. Push the crown back to position I. For exact second setting, pull the crown when the second hand is at 60.

How to set the date?

Pull the crown to position II. Turn it until the correct date is displayed. Push back to position I. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and midnight as the calendar is changing.

How to use the chronograph?

Press pusher A to start and stop the chronograph. Press pusher B to reset the hands to zero. The minute counter measures up to 30 minutes, the central seconds counter measures 60 seconds, and the 1/10 second counter measures 1 second per revolution (after 30 min it becomes an hour counter).

How to take a cumulative timing?

Press A to start, then press A again to stop (intermediate time). Press A to restart, and so on. To get the total time, stop with A and read the counters. Reset to zero with B.

How to measure an intermediate time?

Press A to start. To display an intermediate time, press B (the hands show the intermediate time but the chronograph continues in the background). Press B again to catch up to the elapsed time. Press A to finally stop.

What to do if the chronograph hands are not at zero?

Pull the crown to position III. Simultaneously press pushers A and B for at least 2 seconds (the central second hand rotates 360°). Use A to adjust the selected hand step by step or continuously, then B to move to the next hand (1/10s then minutes). Push the crown back to position I.

What type of battery does the Jaguar J645 use?

1 *Pull out the crown to position III (the watch stops).
② Turn the crown until you reach the correct time 8.45.
3 *Push the crown back into position I.

Please note:

*In order to set the time to the exact second, 1 must be pulled out when the second hand is in position «60» (I).

Once the hour and minute hands have been set, ③ must be pushed back into position I at the exact second.

1 Pull out the crown to position II (the watch continues to run).
2 Turn the crown until the correct date 01 appears.
3 Push the crown back into position I.

Please note:

The date can be changed during the date changing phase between 9.00 PM and 12.00 PM; please note that the date must be set to the date of the following day as in this case the automatic date changing does not occur at midnight.

Setting the date/time following a battery change

**Please observe the AM/PM clock rhythm.

Chronograph:

• The minute counter measures 30 minutes per rotation.
• The center stop-second measures 60 seconds per rotation.
- The 1/10 second counter measures 1 second per rotation. After 30 minutes this counter works as hour counter. The how counter measures 10 hours per rotation.

Before using the chronograph functions, please ensure that:

→ the crown is in position I (= normal position).

→ the 3 chronograph hands are precisely at zero position following activation of push

button B. Should this not be the case, the positions of the hands must be adjusted (see the chapter entitled «adjusting the chronograph hands to zero position»).

1 Start: Press push-button A.
2 Stop: to stop the timing, press push-button A. once more and read the three chronograph hands: 4min/38sec/7/10 sec

3 Zero positioning: Press push-button B. (The three chronograph hands will be reset to their zero positions).

1 Start: (start timing)
2 Stop: (e.g. 15 min 5 sec following 1)
3 Restart: (timing is resumed)
4 *Stop: (c.g. 13 min 5 sec following 3) = 28 min 10 sec (The accumulated measured time is shown)

5 Reset: The three chronograph hands are returned to their zero positions.

* Following 4, the accumulation of the timing can be continued by pressing push button A (Restart / Stop, Restart / Stop, ...)

* 3 Making up the measured time: (the 3 chronograph hands are quickly advanced to the ongoing measured time).

⑤ Reset: The 3 chronograph displays are returned to their zero position

* Following 3, further intervals or intermediates can be displayed by pressing push-button B (display interval / make up measured time, ...)

Adjusting the chronograph hands to zero position

Example:

One or several chronograph hands are not in their correct zero positions and have to be adjusted (e.g. following a battery change).

1 Pull out the crown to position III (all 3 chronograph hands are in their correct or incorrect zero position).

2 Keep push-buttons A and B depressed simultaneously for at least 2 seconds (the centre stop-second rotates by 360^ →corrective mode is activated).
