How to correctly install the Beper RI.085 fan heater?

Place the fan heater on a flat and horizontal surface. Make sure it is at least 1 meter from curtains, furniture and clothing. Do not use it near flammable or explosive materials. Only plug it into a compatible mains socket (220-240 V ~ 50 Hz).

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

Yes, but with caution. Place the fan heater away from the bathtub or shower to prevent it from getting wet or touched with wet hands. Never use it to dry clothes.

What to do if the power cable is damaged?

Do not use the appliance. The cable must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a qualified person to avoid any risk.

How to clean the fan heater?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the outside with a slightly damp cloth with hot water. Use a vacuum cleaner for the air inlet and outlet grilles. Do not use solvents, detergents or alcohol.

Why does the indicator light not turn on?

Check that the appliance is properly plugged in and that the switch is in the I position. If the light still does not come on, the appliance may be defective. Contact a Beper authorized service center.

The appliance turns off by itself, is this normal?

Yes, the RI.085 is equipped with an automatic shut-off mechanism in case of overheating. Make sure the ventilation openings are not obstructed and that the appliance is not covered.

Can I use the heater with an extension cord?

It is not recommended to use adapters, multiple sockets or extension cords. If necessary, only use products compliant with current safety standards.

How to store the appliance in summer?

Clean it, let it dry completely, then store it in a dry and clean place, preferably in its original packaging, covered with a cloth to avoid dust.

Is the warranty valid if I repair the appliance myself?

No, any manipulation by an unauthorized or unqualified person automatically voids the warranty. Contact your retailer or Beper after-sales service.

• Do not use this heater near showers, bathtubs, sinks, swimming pools, etc.
• Always use the heater in an upright position.
• Do not use the heater to dry laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overheating).
• The heater must be positioned at least 50~cm from furniture or other objects.
• When the appliance is used as a portable heater, do not place it close to walls, furniture, curtains etc.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance must not be placed immediately under a fixed power socket.
• Do not cover the appliance when in operation as this could cause overheating and a fire risk.
• Do not use the appliance in rooms with a floor area of less than 4m2

The heater is fitted with a safety device which switches the heater off in case of accidental overheating (eg. obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, unplug the appliance from the mains socket for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug in again.

Important: Never under any circumstances cover the appliance during operation as this would lead to dangerous overheating of the appliance itself.

Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.

GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE

This appliance has been checked in the factory. From the date of original purchase a 24 month guarantee applies to material and production defects. The purchase receipt and the guarantee certificate must be submitted together in case of claim to guarantee.

For any technical assistance, please contact directly the seller or our head office in order to preserve the appliance's efficiency and NOT TO void the guarantee. Any intervention on this appliance by non-authorized persons will automatically void the guarantee.

Guarantee conditions

If the appliance shows defects as a result of faulty material and/or production during the period of guarantee, we guarantee repair free of charge on condition that:

• The appliance has been used properly and for the purpose for which it has been intended.
• Repairs are professionally carried out by qualified persons who are appointed by the supplier.
• The purchase receipt shall be presented.
• The appliance showing a fair wear and tear shall not be covered by this guarantee.

Therefore, any part that could be accidentally broken or having visible signs of use in consumable products (such as lamps, batteries, heating elements...) is excluded from the guarantee, and any defect whatsoever resulting from non-respect of the rules for use, negligence in usage and/or maintenance of the appliance, damage during transport and any other damage not attributable the supplier.

For every defect that could not be repaired within the guarantee period, the appliance will be replaced free of charge.
