How to use the rotisserie?

Place the spit through the center of the food, attach the forks with the butterfly screws, insert the pointed end into the motor and the square end into the support. Set the temperature to 230 °C and select the Rotisserie or Rotisserie + Convection function. Use the handle to remove the food after cooking.

Why does smoke come out of the oven during first use?

This is normal. The smoke comes from burning off manufacturing residues. It usually disappears after 5 to 10 minutes of operation. Make sure the room is well ventilated.

Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?

No, do not cover any part of the oven with aluminum foil as it may cause overheating and a fire hazard.

How to clean the inside of the oven?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely. Clean the interior with a clean, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive detergents.

What accessories are included with the oven?

The oven comes with a cooking grid, a baking tray, a rotisserie set (rod, spit, forks, butterfly screws), and a handle to remove the rotisserie.

What is the maximum temperature of the oven?

The maximum temperature is 230 °C. Use the temperature control to select the desired temperature.

Does the oven turn off automatically?

Yes, when the timer reaches zero, the oven automatically shuts off and an audible alarm sounds. You can also turn it off manually by turning the timer to the 'Off' position.

Can I place the oven on a wooden surface?

No, never place the oven on an untreated wooden surface. Use a heat-resistant surface. Leave at least 20 cm of space around the appliance for good air circulation.

How to use the convection function?

Set the selector to the Convection or Rotisserie and Convection position. The convection function allows for even cooking. You can also use it for grilling by activating the top heat.

What to do if the glass door gets scratched?

Tempered glass is resistant but may shatter at the edges if scratched. Avoid scratching the surface or edges of the door. Do not use sharp objects to clean.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read all instructions carefully and keep the instructions for reference in a safe place.

• This appliance has a hardened safety glass door. The glass is stronger than ordinary glass and more shatterproof. Hardened glass can still break around edges. Avoid scratches on the door surface or in the edges.
• Do not use the device outdoors. Only use the appliance for its intended purpose.
• This device may be only used by children 8 years old or older and persons with limited physical, sensory and mental capabilities and / or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they have been instructed in use of the device by a responsible person who understands the associated risks.

GETTING STARTED AND OPERATION

Before use

• Ensure that there is enough ventilation around the oven.
• Ensure that the oven is completely dry before use.
• The oven should not be placed on untreated wooden surface. Place the oven on a heat resistant surface.
• The feet of the oven can leave some marks on the table, if this happens, remove the marks with a damp cloth.

Oven use

• Turn the thermostat dial clockwise to the desired temperature.
• Turn the Rotisserie/convection selector dial to the desired position.
• Turn the Heating selector dial to the desired position.
• Turn the timer dial clockwise to the desired cooking time.
• The power light will light up after timer is turned on, and will go out when the timer is turned to OFF.
• When the cooking time is over, the timer will auto shut off and the bell will ring.
• If the cooking is finished earlier than the set cooking time, please turn back the timer to OFF to turn off the oven.
• In the first use of this oven, there might be some light smoke coming out from the oven, this is normal. After 5-10 minutes the smoke will disappear.
  In order to get better cooking performance, it is recommended to pre-heat the oven about 10-15 minutes.

Rotisserie use

1. Put one skewer through the pointed end of the spit, making sure the points of skewer face towards the spit's pointed end. Slide the skewer towards the square end of the spit.
2. Insert the spit directly through the center of the food which you want to roast.
3. Put the other skewer through the pointed end of the spit, making sure the points of skewer face the spit's square end.
4. Put the two skewers into the food, then secure both skewers with the thumbscrews.
5. Make sure the food is centered on the spit.
6. Insert the pointed end of the spit into the drive socket, make sure the square end of the spit rests on the spit support.
7. Plug the oven.
8. Set the thermostat to 230.
9. Turn the timer to the time which you require, the power indicator will light up. Normally it takes 30 minutes to roast a 2.5Kg(5.5Pd) weight chicken.
10. Set the selector to Rotisserie or Rotisserie & Convection setting, the rotisserie starts rotating.

11. When roasting is completed, turn back the timer to OFF.

12. After the oven is cooled, place the hooks of the rotisserie handle under the grooves on both sides of the spit. Lift the right side of the spit first, move towards right side a little bit, so that the left side of the spit goes out of the drive socket. Then carefully move out the roasted food from the oven.

13. Take the food off the spit.

Grill cooking

• Leave the door at the close point.
• Turn the selector to GRILL setting (top heating), and Convection is recommended.
• Turn the temperature dial to 230^ .
• Turn the timer to the desired grill time.
• When the grill cooking is done, turn back the timer to OFF to turn off the oven.

After use

• Turn back the Timer to OFF.
• Turn the Heating Selector Dial to OFF.
• Turn the Rotisserie & Convection Dial to OFF.
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
• Wait until the oven is completely cool before any cleaning or maintenance.

Maintenance and cleaning

• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. All surfaces can be cleaned with a clean damp cloth.
• If stains still appear, it is recommended to use soap.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean the appliance.
• Clean the interior chamber with a clean damp cloth.

CLEANING AND CARE
