Children must not play with the scales. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are being supervised.

Bathroom Scales BE 1620 | BE 1711 | BE 1712 English Start-up Remove the iso-strip The battery is already inserted at delivery and furnished with an iso-strip to protect it from discharging prematurely. In order to activate the scales, you must remove the iso- strip. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the device.

1. Push the locking tab slightly towards the middle of the scales and remove the

battery compartment cover.

2. Pull the iso-strip out.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Inserting/changing battery To use the scales, a type CR2032, 3V battery is required.
