INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR BONECO P340

DEAR CUSTOMER,

Congratulations on your purchase of the BONECO P340. The extremely efficient air purifier is equipped with a high-quality filter which rids the air of odors as well as dust, pollen and dirt particles. The filter also effectively alleviates many forms of discomfort caused by allergies. This also includes hay fever or allergic reactions to household dust and mite excrement.

The BONECO P340 is designed for easy, fully automated operation. The smart control system ensures that the noise level remains as low as possible. Thanks to the integrated timer, the appliance also runs whenever you are not at home. This means you can always come home to an optimal room climate.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

The BONECO P340 can easily be adapted to your needs. During start-up of the appliance, the basic setting of the fan level is in automatic mode (AUTO MODE).

"AUTO" MODE

In the mode Athofan level is automatically regulated depending on the air quality. After the appliance is switched on for the first time, it runs at the lowest fan level L for the first few minutes.

AIR QUALITY INDICATOR

The air quality is measured by the built-in sensor and is visualized by different colors on the "air" display.

Clean Acceptable Poor

Once the appliance is switched on, it takes around one minute for the sensor to measure the current air quality. During this time, the appliance runs at level «L».

Please note that the measured values may change depending on the size of the room and the position of the appliance.

The sensor registers the smallest dirt particles and gases. They include house dust, pollen, gases such as tobacco smoke, organic compounds and odors.

MANUALLY CONTROLLING THE FAN LEVEL

The fan level of the BONECO P340 can be manually controlled.

Push the button several times until the desired fan level is attained.

IONIZER AND TIMER FUNCTION

IONIZER

The ionizer is activated by pressing the "ION" button once. Pressing the button again switches off the ionizer.

TIMER FUNCTION

The timer function lets you determine how long the BONECO P340 should run before it switches off automatically (OFF timer).

SETTING THE OFF TIMER

1. Switch on the BONECO P340 by pressing the button.
2. Select the desired operating setting and the desired comfort mode.
3. Press the button once.
4. Use the button to set how long the appliance operates (1, 2, 4 or 8 hours).

The appliance runs for the specified period and is then switched off.

1. In order to end the timer prematurely, keep the button pressed until the timer switches off. Alternatively, you can switch off the BONECO P340 using the button.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not use alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning.

REPLACEMENT FILTERS

You can obtain replacement filters from your BONECO specialist dealer or in the online store at: www.shop.boneco.com

REPLACING THE FILTER

The filter is used up when the "filter indicator is illuminated. The filter must now be replaced to continue to ensure optimal air purification.

The procedure for replacing the filter corresponds to the figures on page 18.

1. Replace the filter in accordance with the instructions on page 18.
2. Press the -button for 5 seconds until the indicator goes out.

CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER

The pre-filter prevents excessive dust accumulation from getting inside the BONECO P340.

1. Clean the pre-filter under running water or using a vacuum cleaner.
2. Allow the pre-filter to dry completely before you re-insert it.
