Defrosting and Keeping Warm
The temperature range of the device can be set manually up to 250^ . As in any commercially available oven, you can of course also defrost food at low temperatures and keep it warm. We recommend that if you want to keep food warm or defrost it, you should select a temperature range below 100^ .
Tips and Tricks
- The device can essentially be used to prepare all foods that can also be prepared in a commercially available convection oven.
- Generally it is not necessary to preheat the device. However, for the preparation of food which has to be ready "on the dot", pre-heating is recommended so that the exact time when the food has been cooked can be determined.
- Cooking times are dependent on the size and quantity of the food and on the cooking temperature. However, in general the cooking times are shorter than in a conventional oven. Start with short cooking times and adjust the cooking times to your personal taste.
- For the preparation of frozen products, please follow the time and temperature specifications of the manufacturer. As a rule you will not need any fat for the preparation of frozen products, as these have usually already been pre-fried. The preparation time may be reduced slightly. You should test whether your food is already cooked before the stated cooking time has expired.
- For the preparation of food you do not need any, or only very little, oil.
- When using the rotating spit, make sure that there is enough free space on all sides so that the roast or chicken being grilled can turn freely in the bowl.
- Do not fill the grill basket more than 34 full with food so that the food is mixed evenly and has a sufficient amount of free space to cook evenly!
- For the gentle warming or defrosting of food, we recommend selecting a temperature range below 100^ .
Table of Cooking Times
Please note that all of the stated cooking temperatures and cooking times are approximate guideline values. As ingredients differ due to their origin, size, shape, quality and brand, we cannot guarantee the optimum setting for your ingredients. The actual cooking times may therefore vary depending on the portion size and the cooking temperature that has been set. Please make sure before serving that your meals have been properly cooked!

Troubleshooting
If the device stops working properly, first check whether you are able to correct the problem yourself.

Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
| Problem Possible cause/solution |
| The device does not work. |
| The grill basket or the rotating spit do not rotate. |
| The food has not been cooked evenly. |
| Problem Possible cause | use/solution |
| You have made chips from fresh potatoes. The result is not crispy. | ·Use waxy potatoes. Young potatoes contain more water and therefore take longer to cook and it is possible that they may not go as crispy. ·The grill basket is too full, place fewer potatoes into the device. ·The chips are cut too thick, cut them into thinner pieces. ·Spray the uncooked potatoes with a little bit of oil from the oil atomiser as this will make them go crispier. |
| You have prepared frozen chips. They are not crispy. | ·Have you used oil? For the preparation of frozen products, there is generally no need to add any fat as most frozen products are already prefried! |
| The food is not evenly mixed around in the grill basket. | ·The grill basket is too full. You will get the best results if you fi ll the grill basket no more than ¾ full with food. |
| The food has not been completely cooked. | ·The selected temperature is too low. Set it higher. ·The cooking time is too short. Adjust the cooking time. ·The grill basket is overfi lled. Reduce the quantity of food. |
