How to adjust the volume of the parent unit?

Use the volume button located on the side of the parent unit. Turn it to increase or decrease the sound. The level is indicated by the sound level LEDs.

What is the maximum range of this monitor?

Outdoors and without obstacles, the range can reach 300 m. Indoors, it is approximately 50 m depending on walls and interference.

Can I use rechargeable batteries in the units?

Yes, you can use AAA rechargeable batteries. Please note that the warranty does not cover rechargeable batteries in case of defects.

How to clean the baby monitor?

Use a soft, dry cloth. Never use abrasive products or solvents. Disconnect the device before cleaning.

What to do if the parent unit does not turn on?

Check that the power adapter is properly plugged in and the socket works. If using batteries, make sure they are correctly inserted and not discharged. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to reset the device?

To reset, remove power (unplug the adapter and remove batteries) for 10 seconds, then reconnect. Re-synchronize the units if necessary.

What does the 24-month warranty cover?

The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects for 24 months from the date of purchase. It does not cover batteries, normal wear, damage due to misuse or third-party interventions.

Can I connect multiple cameras to a single parent unit?

This model is generally supplied with one baby unit. To use multiple cameras, check if the model supports multiple pairing. See the manual for details.

Using the energy-efficient power adapter plug (input 100-240 VAC, output 6 VDC, 800 mA) the zero load is approx. 0.08W. The average efficiency is approx. 73% . The maximum power consumption is approx. 1.94 W.

Guarantee

SWITEL equipment is produced and tested according to the latest production methods. The implementation of carefully chosen materials and highly developed technologies ensure trouble-free functioning and a long service life. The terms of guarantee do not apply to the batteries or power packs used in the products. The period of guarantee is 24 months from the date of purchase.

All deficiencies related to material or manufacturing errors within the period of guarantee will be redressed free of charge. Rights to claims under the terms of guarantee are annulled following tampering by the purchaser or third parties. Damage caused as the result of improper handling or operation, normal wear and tear, incorrect positioning or storage, improper connection or installation or Acts of God and other external influences are excluded from the terms of guarantee. In the case of complaints, we reserve the right to repair defective parts, replace them or replace the entire device. Replaced parts or devices become our property. Rights to compensation in the case of damage are excluded where there is no evidence of intent or gross negligence by the manufacturer.

If your device does show signs of a defect within the period of guarantee, please contact the sales outlet where you purchased the SWITEL device, producing the purchase receipt as evidence. All claims under the terms of guarantee in accordance with this agreement can only be asserted at the sales outlet. No claims under the terms of guarantee can be asserted after a period of two years from the date of purchase and hand-over of the product.
