If the instructions for correct use of the appliance are not observed, the manufacturer's liability for any resulting damage will be excluded. This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Use the appliance only for processing normal amounts of food and for normal amounts of time for domestic use.
This appliance is suitable for mixing liquid or semi-solid food, for cutting or chopping raw fruit and vegetables, for puréeing food and for chopping deep-frozen food (such as fruit) or crushing ice cubes. The appliance should not be used for processing other substances or objects.
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Keep children away from the appliance and connecting cable and do not allow them to use the appliance. Do not let children play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children.
Safety instructions
Risk of electric shock and fire!
Only use the appliance indoors at room temperature and up to 2000 m above sea level. Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the rating plate. Do not use the appliance if the power cord and/or appliance are damaged. Only our customer service may repair the appliance, e.g. by replacing a damaged power cord, in order to avoid hazards. The power cord must not come into contact with hot parts or be pulled across sharp edges. Do not place the appliance or its accessories on or near hot surfaces such as hobs.
Never immerse the base unit in water or place it in the dishwasher. Do not steam-clean the appliance. Do not use the appliance with damp hands.
After each use, whenever the appliance is unsupervised, prior to assembly, prior to disassembly, prior to cleaning and in the event of an error, the appliance must always be disconnected from the mains.
Risk of injury!
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is switched on! Do not operate the appliance at idle speed. Never leave the appliance switched on for longer than is necessary for processing the ingredients. Immediately after using the appliance, wait for it to stop. When the appliance has been switched off, the blade continues running for a short time. Before replacing accessories or additional parts which move during operation, the appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Never place fingers in the attached blender jug. Only use the appliance when it is fully assembled! Use the appliance only with genuine parts and accessories. Never process food that is hotter than 50°C in the plastic blender jug. Care should be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the container and during cleaning.
Risk of scalding!
When you process hot ingredients in the glass blender jug, steam will escape through the filling opening in the lid. You should always use one hand to hold the lid firmly in place while you work, but don't place your hand over the filling opening! Pour no more than 0.3 litres of hot or frothing liquid into the glass blender jug.
Important!
The blender jugs are not suitable for use in the microwave. It is essential to clean the appliance as described after each use and if it has not been used for an extended period. → "Care and daily cleaning" see page 14

Illuminated ring
Depending on the model
The illuminated ring lights up when all the parts have been correctly assembled and the appliance is plugged in. The illuminated ring remains lit up while the appliance is in use.
Blender jug
Notes:
- The to-go blender jug and the chopper blender jug are made of Tritan. Tritan is an unbreakable plastic with no discernable taste or smell.
- The glass blender jug is made of heatproof ThermoSafe glass.

Before using for the first time
Before the new appliance can be used, it must be fully unpacked, cleaned and checked.
Caution!
Never operate a damaged appliance!
- Remove the base unit and all accessories from the packaging.
- Remove the packaging material that is present. Check that all the parts are present and examine them for obvious damage.

Use
Risk of injury!
- Do not insert the mains plug until all preparations for working with the appliance are complete and the required attachments are assembled correctly and connected to the base unit.
- Never process food that is hotter than 50°C in the plastic blender jug.
- Handle the blade insert with care, and don't put your hand between the blades.

- Never put your hand in the blender jug once it is in place, and always put the lid on before using the appliance.
Risk of scalding!
Pour no more than 0.3 litres of hot or frothing liquid into the glass blender jug.
- Place the base unit on a stable and level work surface.
- Completely unwind the mains cable.
Using the to-go or chopper blender jug

- Put the desired ingredients into the blender jug.
- Hold the blade insert by the plastic ring and insert it - blade first - into the blender jug. Turn the blade insert anticlockwise until it audibly clicks into place.
- Turn the blender jug over.
- Insert the blender jug into its recess on the motor block and turn it clockwise until it audibly clicks into place.
- Plug the mains plug into the mains.
- Hold the blender jug firmly with one hand. Hold down the I or II button until the mixture has reached the desired consistency.
- Release the button and wait until the appliance comes to rest. Disconnect the mains plug.
- Turn the blender jug anticlockwise and then remove it.
- Turn the blender jug over.
- Turn the blade insert clockwise and then remove it.
Caution!
Never set the blade insert down with the blade underneath. This could damage the blade and scratch your work surface.

- Close the jug with the lid.
- To pour out or drink contents, undo screw cap and remove, or lift up drinking cap.
Clean all the parts. → "Care and daily cleaning" see page 14
Working with the glass blender jug

- Hold the blade insert by the plastic ring and insert it - blade first - into the blender jug. Turn the blade insert anticlockwise until it audibly clicks into place.
- Turn the blender jug over.
- Insert the blender jug into its recess on the motor block and turn it clockwise until it audibly clicks into place.
- Put the desired ingredients into the blender jug.
- Put the lid and locking cap in place.
- Plug the mains plug into the mains.
- Hold the lid firmly with one hand, but don't place your hand over the filling opening. Hold down the I or II button until the mixture has reached the desired consistency.
- Release the button and wait until the appliance comes to rest. Disconnect the mains plug.
- Turn the blender jug anti-clockwise and then remove it.
- Remove the lid.
- Pour the blended food into another container.
- Turn the blade insert clockwise and then remove it.
Caution!
Never set the blade insert down with the blade underneath. This could damage the blade and scratch your work surface.

Adding more ingredients

- Release the button and wait until the appliance comes to rest.
- Remove the locking cap or the entire lid.
- Add the extra ingredients.
- Replace the lid and the locking cap, and again hold down the I or II button.
Note: you can remove the locking cap by turning it anticlockwise.
Care and daily cleaning
The appliance and all the attachments and accessories used must be thoroughly cleaned after each use.
Risk of electric shock!
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
- Never immerse the base unit in liquids and do not clean in the dishwasher.
- Do not use a steam cleaner.
Risk of injury!
Do not touch the blender blades with your bare hands.
Caution!
- Do not use any cleaning agents containing alcohol or spirits.
- Do not use any sharp, pointed or metal objects.
- Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaning agents.
Notes:
- It is best to clean the parts immediately after use. This will prevent residues from drying on and possibly attacking the plastic (e.g. essential oils in herbs).
- Pour a little water and washing-up liquid into the empty blender jug and hold down button for a few seconds.
- The plastic parts may become discoloured when you process certain ingredients, such as carrots, but this can be removed with a few drops of cooking oil.
In Fig. 1 you will find a summary of how to clean the individual parts.
Base unit
Wipe the outside of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth and dry off.
Blade holder
Remove the seal before cleaning. Only clean the blade holder with a brush under running water. Don't leave it soaking in water!

Blender jugs and lids
You can clean the blender jugs and other parts with a detergent solution and a soft cloth or sponge, or put them in the dishwasher.
Safety systems
Start lock-out and automatic cut-out
The appliance can be switched on only if the blender jug has been latched firmly into place. The appliance will switch off automatically if the blender jug becomes detached while it is running. → "Troubleshooting" see page 15
Troubleshooting
Risk of injury!
Before dealing with any faults, unplug the mains plug.
Fault
Appliance fails to start up or switches off while in use. The illuminated ring (depending on the model) does not light up.
Possible cause
Blender jug is not correctly positioned or has become detached.
Remedy
- Release the button. Disconnect the mains plug. Position the blender jug correctly and turn it until it latches audibly into place. Plug the mains plug into the mains. Press the I or II button again to test the function.

If this does not resolve the problem, please contact customer service. You will find their contact information at the end of these operating instructions.
Recipes
Notes:
- First mix the solid ingredients with half the amount of liquid, then add the remainder of the liquid.
- Use the appropriate blender jug for each recipe. Note the maximum processing quantities and times! See Fig. 6.
Green smoothie

- 1 green apple (approx. 100 g)
- Juice of one lemon (approx. 20 g) - 20 g kale
- 10 g celery
- 10 g coriander leaves
- 10 g linseed - 1 g ground cinnamon
- 300 g cooled water. Cut apple, celery and kale into pieces. Put a little of the water in the blender jug.
- Blend for 1 minute at speed II.
- Add all the remaining ingredients to the blender jug.
- Blend for 1 minute at speed II.
Smoothie

- 1 banana (approx. 100 g) - 4 g fresh red ginger - 100 g yoghurt - 30 g honey - 100 ml milk. Peel the banana and ginger and cut into pieces. - Place all the ingredients in the to-go blender jug. - Blend for 1 minute at speed II.
Energy drink

- 240 g low fat milk
- 1/2 banana (approx. 50 g) - 30 g sugar - 20 g cocoa powder. Cut the banana into pieces and freeze overnight.
- Place all the ingredients in the blender jug.
- Blend for 1 minute at speed II.
Apples and peas
- 100 g frozen peas
- 100 g frozen soya beans
- 1 apple (ca. 100 g)
- 220 g apple juice. Peel and core the apple and cut it into pieces. Rinse the peas and soya beans under running water. Put the apple, peas and soya beans into boiling water and let them stand for 3 minutes. Rinse the cooked ingredients in a sieve under running water and then place them in iced water for a further 3 minutes to cool. Place the cooked ingredients and the apple juice in the blender jug.
- Blend the mixture at speed until it is thick and creamy.
Avocado cream
- 1 apple or pear (ca. 100 g)
- 1/2 avocado (ca. 70 g) - 100 g water. Peel and core the apple or pear and cut it into pieces. Gently simmer the pieces in a little water on a low heat until they are soft. Peel the avocado, cut it into pieces and remove the stone. Place the cooked ingredients and the piece of avocado in the blender jug.
- Blend the mixture at speed until it is thick and creamy.
Sportsman's cocktail
- 150 g oranges
- 50 g lemon
- 1 tsp sugar or honey
- 125 ml apple juice
- 125 ml mineral water. Peel the oranges and lemons, cut into pieces and remove the pips.
- Place all the ingredients in the blender jug.
- Blend for 1 minute at speed I.

Disposal

Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner. This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU concerning used electrical and electronic appliances (waste electricity and electronic equipment - WEEE). The guideline determines the framework for the return and recycling of used appliances as applicable throughout the EU. Please ask your specialist retailer about current disposal facilities.
Guarantee
The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined by our representative in the country in which it is sold. Details regarding these conditions can be obtained from the dealer from whom the appliance was purchased. Blender jug and lid
Wash the blender jug and the lid separately with a soft cloth or sponge, soaked in warm soapy water. They can also be washed in the dishwasher.
Safety instructions
Protection against accidental switching on / automatic switching off
The device can only be switched on and used if the burner head is fully retracted. In the event of improper loosening of the burner head fixation, the device switches off automatically.

Troubleshooting
Danger of injury!
Pull the mains plug out of the socket before starting troubleshooting.
Fault
The device does not start or switches off during operation. The indicator light (depending on the model) does not light up.
Possible cause
The burner head is not installed correctly, or its fixation is loose.
Remedy
■ Press the button. Pull the mains plug out of the socket. Install the burner head correctly and turn it until it locks with a characteristic click. Insert the mains plug into the socket. Press the button again or II to check the function.
Important note
If the fault cannot be remedied using the described method, contact the service department. → Contact data is at the end of the instructions.
PeCNTs
Ingredients:
- Solid ingredients are added according to the recipe. - Adjust the blender speed according to the recipe. - Follow the recommendations for the maximum quantity of products and processing time!

- Spinach (approx. 100 g) - Juice of one lemon (approx. 20 g) - 20 g of curly kale - 10 g of celery stalk - 10 g of parsley - 10 g of onion - 1 g of ground turmeric - 300 ml of cold water ■ Wash the spinach, celery stalk, and kale (curly) and cut into pieces. Pour a little water into the blender jar. ■ Blend for about 1 minute on speed II. Add the remaining ingredients to the blender jar. ■ Blend for about 1 minute on speed II.
Smoothie

- 1 banana (approx. 100 g) - 4 g of dried red dates - 100 g of yogurt - 30 g of honey - 100 ml of milk
Peel the banana and dates, put all ingredients into the blender jar. ■ Blend for about 1 minute on speed II.
Energy drink

Rinse the cooked ingredients in cold water and then place in cold water for 3 minutes to cool. Put the cooked ingredients into the blender jar and pour in the apple juice. ■ Blend until a thick creamy mass forms.
Avocado cream
1 avocado (approx. 100 g) - 12 pcs. of toast (approx. 70 g) - 100 g of water
Clean the avocado or pear, cut into pieces and remove the pit. Put the pieces in a small amount of water until they soften. Clean the avocado, cut into pieces and remove the pit. Add the remaining ingredients and avocado pieces to the blender bowl. Blend on level II until a thick creamy mass forms.
Sports cocktail
-150 g of orange -50 g of lemon -1 tbsp. of honey -125 ml of apple juice -125 ml of mineral water Wash the orange and lemon, cut into pieces, remove the seeds. Put all ingredients into the blender bowl. Blend for 1 minute on level II.

The indicator ring lights up when all parts of the device are correctly assembled and the device is connected to the power supply. The indicator ring also lights up when the device is in use.
Blender jar
Specified.
- The removable and interchangeable blender jar is made of Tritan. Tritan is a transparent plastic that is neutral in taste and odor. The glass blender jar is made of ThermoSafe glass.
The blender jars (depending on the model) are suitable for various applications.
Before first use
Before using the new device, it must be completely unpacked, cleaned, and checked.
Attention!
It is strictly forbidden to operate a damaged device!
Remove the main unit and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any existing packaging material.

Use
Risk of injury cannot be excluded!
-The plug may only be inserted into the socket after complete preparation for working with the device, i.e., after assembling the necessary attachments and connecting them to the main unit. - Do not process hot products (>50°C) in the plastic blender jar. - Handle the knife insert with care and do not touch the blender blade.

- Do not put your hand into the installed glass blender jar and always work with the lid installed. Risk of burns!
Fill the glass blender jar with no more than 0.3 liters of hot liquid or foam.
Place the main unit on a stable horizontal surface. Fully unwind the power cord.
Working with the portable blender jar

- Load the lower ingredients into the blender jar.
- Attach the blade assembly to the plastic ring, install it in the blender jar with the blade facing down. Turn the blade assembly counterclockwise until it locks with a click.
- Turn the blender jar over.
- Insert the blender jar into the corresponding recess and turn it clockwise until it locks with a click.
- Insert the plug into the socket.
- Hold the blender jar with one hand. Keep the button pressed until the desired consistency is reached.
- Release the button and wait for the rotation to stop completely. Remove the plug from the socket.
- Turn the blender jar counterclockwise and remove it.
- Turn the blender jar.
- Turn the knife insert clockwise and remove it.
CAUTION!
Never place the knife insert with the blade facing down. This can damage the blade and scratch the support surface.

- Close the jar with the lid.
- To pour or drink the contents, unscrew the cap or open the drinking lid.
Clean all parts of the appliance. → "Care and daily cleaning" see page 120
Working with the glass blender jar

- Holding the knife insert by the plastic ring, insert it into the blender jar with the blade facing up. Turn the knife insert counterclockwise until it locks into place with the coupling.
- Turn the blender jar.
- Place the blender jar into the corresponding recess and turn it clockwise until it locks into place with the coupling.
- Load the ingredients into the blender jar.
- Place the lid on and insert the cap.
- Insert the plug into the socket.
- Hold the lid with your hand. Do not place your hand over the filling opening. Keep the I and II buttons pressed until the desired consistency is reached.
- Release the button and wait for the rotation to stop completely. Remove the plug from the socket.
- Turn the blender jar counterclockwise and remove it.
- Remove the lid.
- Pour the product.
- Turn the knife insert clockwise and remove it.
Warning!
Never place the knife insert with the blade facing down. This can damage the knife and scratch the work surface.

The device does not start or switches off during use. The indicator light (depending on the model) does not light up.
Possible cause
The blender jar is not correctly installed or fixed.
Remedy
Release the button. Remove the plug from the socket. Install the blender jar correctly and turn it until it clicks. Insert the plug into the socket. Press the button again to check the function.

Green smoothie
- Green apple (approx. 100 g) - Juice of one lemon (approx. 20 g) - 20 g spinach leaves - 10 g celery stalk - 10 g parsley leaves - 10 g pumpkin seeds - 1 g ground cinnamon - 300 g cold water
■ Chop the apple, celery stalk, and spinach leaves into pieces. Pour a little water into the blender jar. Blend for 1 minute on level II. Load all remaining ingredients into the blender jar. Blend for 1 minute on level II.
- 1 banana (about 100 g) - 4 strawberries - 100 g blueberries - 30 g honey - 100 ml milk
Peel the banana and cut into pieces. Load all other ingredients into the blender jar. Blend for 1 minute on speed II.

- 240 g milk - 1/2 banana (about 50 g) - 30 g sugar - 20 g cocoa powder
Cut the banana into pieces and freeze overnight.

Apple with peas
- 100 g frozen peas - 100 g frozen soybeans - 1 apple (about 100 g) - 220 g apple juice
Peel the apple, remove the core, and cut into pieces. Rinse the peas and soybeans under running water. 8. Attention! Important standard for the consumer
