How to install the VDV610 Compact intercom?
Installation must be carried out by a specialist. Drill 4 holes (Ø6 mm) using the template, insert the wall plugs, then fix the outdoor station. Connect the cables according to the diagram: Audio 1, +15V, GND and Video 1 from the outdoor station to the indoor station.
How to adjust the volume of the outdoor station?
Use the potentiometer (mark 7) located on the outdoor station. Turn it clockwise to increase the volume, counterclockwise to decrease it.
How to change the opening duration of the electric strike?
The duration is set via the DIP switch (mark 8). Left position (SS) = 5 seconds, right position (1S) = 1 second. By default, the duration is 5 seconds.
How to clean the stainless steel front panel?
Never use abrasive detergents. Clean with a damp cloth (clear water or special stainless steel spray) following the direction of the grooves. Avoid circular motions to prevent scratching the surface.
What to do if the image does not display on the indoor monitor?
Check the cable connections (Audio 1, +15V, GND, Video 1) between the outdoor and indoor stations. Make sure the power supply is plugged in (15V DC). If the problem persists, contact a specialist.
Can an additional external camera be connected?
Yes, an external 12V DC camera with FBAS signal can be connected to the VIDEO IN, GND and +12V DC OUT terminals of the outdoor station. Audio is not transmitted when the external camera is active.
How to configure the ID code for multiple outdoor stations?
Use the DIP switch (mark 9). Settings: ID1 = switches 1 and 2 ON; ID2 = 1 OFF, 2 ON; ID3 = 1 OFF, 2 OFF. This allows selecting each outdoor station from the indoor unit.

What is the permitted operating temperature?
The intercom operates correctly in a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity.
How to connect the electric strike?
Connect two cables from the strike directly to the 'Doorlock' and 'GND' terminals of the outdoor station. The strike must operate at 12V DC and not exceed 1A. Observe polarity: GND is negative.
