Inserting the batteries

• Open the battery compartment on the back.
• Insert 2 batteries of type UM3/AA/LR6 1,5 V (batteries not supplied).
• Please ensure that the polarity is correct (see the floor of the battery compartment)!

• Close the battery compartment again.
• If the device is not used for a prolonged period of time, please take the batteries out in order to prevent leakage of battery acid.
• Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.

CAUTION:

• Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at your dealer's.
• Never throw batteries into the fire.

Starting up

Attach the desired accessory onto the shaft. You can attach or remove the accessories by simply pushing them onto the shaft of the drive unit or pulling them off.

Use

NOTE:

Do not bathe or apply cream to your feet or hands before treatment, but wash them after treatment.

• Turn the device on. With the switch you can change the direction of rotation of the motor from clockwise to anticlockwise and select between two different speeds. For clockwise motion push the switch upwards, for anticlockwise motion downwards.

• Guide the accessory to be used with a gentle movement over the place to be treated.

WARNING:

• Constantly check at brief intervals the progress of the treatment to avoid injuries. This applies in particular to diabetics, as they are less sensitive to pain on their hands and feet.
• You should always work very carefully.
• Please also consider the possibility that heat will be produced, e.g. when rubbing off calluses on the feet.

Cleaning

• Clean the machine only with a slightly damp cloth.
  The accessories can be cleaned in water.
