Frequently Asked Questions - TSA0802 Teesa

How to set up the scale for a new user?
Press the SET button. Use the ▲ or ▼ buttons to choose a personal number (P0 to P9) and confirm with SET. Then set the gender (male/female), age (10 to 80 years), and height (100 to 240 cm) using the ▲/▼ buttons, confirming each step with SET.
What do the error messages 'Lo', 'Err', 'Err2' mean?
'Lo' indicates low battery: replace it. 'Err' indicates an overload: remove weight. 'Err2' corresponds to a fat percentage measurement error: make sure you are barefoot and the sensors are in contact.
Can I use the scale if I am pregnant or have a pacemaker?
No, for safety reasons, use of this scale is not recommended for persons with a pacemaker or pregnant women. Consult your doctor if in doubt.
How to clean the scale properly?
Use a slightly damp soft cloth to clean the scale. Never use chemicals or detergents. Never immerse the device in water.
Why do body composition results vary?
Results may vary depending on hydration, diet, and time of day. For better reliability, weigh yourself every day at the same time, under the same conditions (barefoot, after going to the bathroom).
How to change the unit of measurement?
When the scale displays '0' (when off), press the UNIT button located on the back of the scale to switch between kg, lb, and st.
Which battery to use and how to replace it?
The scale works with a CR2032 battery. To replace it, open the battery compartment on the back, remove the old battery and insert the new one respecting polarity (+/-).
Is the scale waterproof?
No, the scale is not waterproof. Avoid any contact with water or other liquids. Use only in a dry environment.
What to do if the scale displays 'FATL' or 'FATH'?
'FATL' appears if the fat percentage is below 5%, and 'FATH' if it exceeds 50%. These values are extreme limits; make sure you are using the scale correctly (barefoot, sensors in contact).
How many users can be registered?
The scale can store up to 10 users (numbers P0 to P9). Each user can record their gender, age, and height for personalized measurements.
