Notes for Use

  • The appliance is intended for garments which are spin-dried by a washing machine. Allow the garment to drain in case you wash it by hand or if you haven't spin-dried it. The appliance is not suitable for dripping wet clothes.

NOTE:

For best results, use ironing moist clothes.

  • The drying time depends on the material of the garment.
  • If necessary, the placket, cuffs and the collar need to be ironed once more.
  • Conventional clothespins may be used for fixing the garments to the balloon body. When using extra long garments, clothespins are of advantage in order to ensure the best possible drying at the projecting edge.

The functions of the on / off switch are the following:

OFF: Switch off the appliance

ON: Appliance in continuous operation

OFF - 180 MINS: Timer operation

Electrical Connection

Check whether the mains voltage that you want to use, corresponds with that of the appliance. You will find the information about it on the rating plate.

Assembly

  1. Put the stand on a non-slip, flat and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Place the motor unit in the stand.
  3. Open the front zip of the balloon body.
  4. Insert the fan guard through the lower hole of the balloon body.
  5. Install the fan guard onto the ventilation. Pay attention to the recesses. Tighten the fan guard by turning it clockwise. This must audibly engage.

  6. Put the connector onto a bar. Insert the other end of the bar into the fan guard.

  7. Put the hanger onto the other bar.
  8. Insert the bar into the connector.
  9. Place the balloon body onto the hanger.
  10. Close the zipper.

The appliance is now ready to use.

Operation

  1. Set the on / off switch to the OFF position.
  2. Pull the garment (e.g. shirt) over the balloon body. Note the following when doing so:

  3. The collar must be placed above the balloon body's collar part.

  4. All buttons of the garment need to be buttoned.
  5. The garment must lie flat on the balloon body.

  6. Insert the mains plug into a correctly installed safety socket.

  7. Set the temperature switch to HEAT.
  8. Turn the appliance on by using the on / off switch. There are two ways for operating the appliance:

1) Set the on / off switch to ON.
2) Set a time with the on / off switch.

NOTE:

The indicator lamp lights up when the appliance is in operation.

  1. Once the garment is completely dried, set the temperature switch to COLD. Run the appliance with this setting for about 5 minutes.
  2. Switch the appliance off by setting the on / off switch to OFF.
  3. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
  4. Remove the garment from the balloon body.
