INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

- Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers first.
- Ensure no stray strands of hair are near the curling chamber opening.
- When plugged in but not turned on 'OFF' will be displayed on the digital display screen indicating the styler is in standby mode.
- Press the On/Off button to switch On, the product will make an audible beep indicating the product is on.

Creating Curls
- This styler can create different curl sizes by utilising different temperature and curling time combinations.
- See below for a guide on how to achieve different curl sizes but this will vary dependent on your hair type.
| Style | Wavy Curls | Loose Curls | Tight Curls | |||
| Temp Setting | 130°C - 170°C | 170°C - 190°C | 190°C - 230°C | |||
| Curl Time Setting | 5 sec | 10 sec | 15 sec | |||
TIP: Size of the hair section also effects curl size; small sections create tighter curls, larger sections create looser curls.
DO NOT use sections larger than 3cm.
- Select your desired temperature. Press the temperature control button repeatedly ( ) until your desired temperature is displayed on the screen.
- The selected temperature will flash continuously on the LCD display until the desired temperature setting is reached. This will be indicated by an audible beep.
DO NOT start styling until the selected temperature setting is reached.
- Select your desired curling time by pressing the curling time selection button, this will allow you to select between 5 and 15 seconds.
- Your selected curling time will be displayed on the LCD digital display screen.
- To turn the curling time off set the timer to 0. By doing this you will not receive an audible beep to signal your curl time.
The styler also allows you to create different curl directions.
- Select your desired curling direction by sliding the curling direction switch left , right , or to the centre position for alternating curls.
To ensure optimum performance please ensure that the sections of hair are clean without any stray or loose hairs.
- To avoid tangles use only a small amount of hair, working on one section at a time.
- Hold the handle with the curling chamber opening facing towards your head.
- Place the opening of the curling chamber at the location in your hair where you want the curl to start.
Warning: Do not place too close to your head.
- Holding a section of hair taught, insert the hair first into the front of the chamber (fig 1).

- Guide the remainder of the hair into the chamber body ensuring the section stays together (fig 2).

Ensure hair is fully inserted into the chamber body (fig 3).

Tip: Twist your hair before inserting into the curling chamber, this will make it easier to insert.
-
Once the section of hair is in place in the chamber, let go of the hair and let the styler hold the hair in place.
-
Press and hold the curling button. The hair will then automatically be drawn in the curling chamber. Do not release the curling button until the barrel has stopped rotating. If you release the button too early the curler will stop winding and release the hair.
After your hair has curled into the chamber, and the barrel has stopped rotating, the curl timer will begin.
After your selected time you will hear three beeps indicating you can remove your curl.
NOTE: If you select 0 on the timer, or you release the curling button before the barrel has stopped rotating, you will not hear any beeps.
TIP: Let the curls cool before further styling or brushing, this will ensure the curls set.
Repeat this process around the head to create as many curls as desired.
After use, press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn off then unplug the appliance.
Er2 Error Warning
NOTE: If you insert too much hair the unit may stop winding, beep, release hair, turn off and display Er2 on the digital display screen. This is to prevent the unit from jamming.
If this occurs, remove hair, press the power button and repeat with a smaller section of hair.
PRO+ Setting

This automatically selects the temperature at 185^ for healthier styling.
