6. CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Congratulations! You have just bought a high quality appliance, which will warranty you years of pleasure. Please read the instruction manual carefully before you take the appliance into use. Save these instructions carefully!
All persons who have not read the instruction manual are not allowed to use this appliance.
Pay ATTENTION to the warranty conditions.
1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
This appliance has been built in accordance with the European CE safety standards and is compliant with the general recognized standards and prescriptions with regard to the safety of appliances. As for all electrical appliances, the necessary precautions need to be taken in order to avoid accidents or damages.
This appliance may be used by children of min. 8 years old, by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge provided they are supervised and instructed to use the appliance in a safe understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of child than 8 years.
■ This appliance is only intended to be used in household at room temperature and similar applications excluding: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other resident environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
- NEVER immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid. They are only to be cleaned with a damp cloth. NEVER touch the plug or the power cord with wet hands.
- A damaged cord can cause electric shocks. NEVER use the appliance if it is damaged, fallen or shows a malfunction, or if the cord or plug are damage these cases return the appliance to your sales point or recognized after sal
■ After use remove the plug from the power point. Also proceed this way when the appliance is not in use, before cleaning and moving.
■ NEVER use separate timers or remote control systems.
■ The blender can only be used with 230V AC.
■ Always place the appliance on a solid flat surface, like a kitchen counter or table so that the appliance will not move or turn over.
■ NEVER use the appliance outdoor.
■ NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of the table or the counter.
■ NEVER place the power cord near heat sources such as cookers, heatings or ovens.
■ NEVER leave the appliance unattended or move it while it is functioning.
■ The blades are sharp, be careful!
- ALWAYS mount the blade unit correct on the cup. ALWAYS use the seal.
- NEVER pull the cord itself to pull the plug from the socket. NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll the cord completely.
- Don't use parts or accessories from other appliances.
- This appliance is only intended for blending, mixing or grinding food. The appliance may not be used for other purposes.
- Immediately unplug the appliance in case it shows a malfunction when in use.
■ Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
- The appliance is intended for household use and cannot be used for more than 1 minute at a time.
■ REMARK: NEVER place the appliance on a wet surface or wet towel.
■ NEVER use liquids hotter than 60°C in the appliance.
■ NEVER switch on the appliance when it is empty.
- The appliance is equipped with a safety against overheating. If it should heat whilst working it will shut off immediately. Let the appliance cool down before reusing it.
2. BEFORE THE FIRST USE
■ Remove all packaging and stickers.
- Keep all packaging out of reach of children.
- Check if the mains voltage corresponds with the mains voltage in your home.
Before the first use we recommend to clean all components thoroughly (see 'Cleaning').
3. INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
A. BLENDING
- The blade unit 'blending' is intended for the preparation of:
- Smoothies
○ Shakes
o Juices
○ Cold soups
○ Dressings and sauces
○ Baby food
- Cut the fruit and vegetables in pieces.
TIP: small pieces tend to blend better and faster than large pieces.
- Put the ingredients in the cup, add moist as needed (water, juice, milk,...).
- Don't fill up the cup for more than 2/3^rd , otherwise there is no space for the ingredients to blend.
- Turn the blade unit on the cup by turning clockwise.
- Carefully fix the cup: put the cup with the blade unit on the motor unit with the 3 pins on the cup right on top of the openings on the motor unit, softly push the cup down and turn clockwise until the pins are under the rim of the motor unit.
- Put the plug in the socket.
- Push in the middle of the On/Off button for continuous work.
- Push on the outer rim (upper – under – side) of the button for the pulse function.

The appliance blends the ingredients. The longer it is working, the finer the ingredients will be blend.
■ Once the ingredients are blend to taste: -
Turn the appliance off by pushing on the On/Off button if you are working in continuous mode, or by releasing the button if you are working in pulse mode.
- Pull the plug from the socket.
- Turn the cup counterclockwise until the pins are aligned with the openings in the motor unit.

Remove the cup with blade unit from the motor unit.

Turn over the cup and remove the blade unit.

Put on the desired lid:

Use the lid with small openings
- Use the lid with large openings
- Use the lid without any opening
- Use the lid with closeable drinking spout
TIP: immediately drink your juice, smoothie,.... If you leave your juice, smoothie it will lose its vitamins. If you can't use it immediately, make sure to put on the closed lid and put it in the fridge.
B. Grinding
■ The blade unit 'grinding' is intended for:
- Grinding nuts
- Grinding herbs
- Grinding coffee beans
- Grinding cheese
○ Crushing ice
- Put the ingredients in the cup (not more than 100gr.).
- Turn the blade unit on the cup by turning clockwise.
- Carefully fix the cup: put the cup with the blade unit on the motor unit with the 3 pins on the cup right on top of the openings on the motor unit, softly push the cup down and turn clockwise until the pins are under the rim of the motor unit.
- Put the plug in the socket.
- Push in the middle of the On/Off button for continuous work.

TIP: grinding coffee beans
- Put the coffee beans in the cup.
- For a specific taste, add other ingredients (f.ex. vanilla, cinnamon,...)
- Grind until you reached the desired coarseness.
- The finer the grinded coffee beans, the stronger the coffee.
4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Motor unit
NEVER plunge the motor block into water or any other liquid. Only clean it with a moist cloth.
Accessories
Wash the cups and the blade units in warm soapy water.
The cups are dishwasher proof.
The blade units are NOT dishwasher proof.
NEVER soak the blade units.
Some parts can take over some color from some ingredients with a lot of color pigment (such as beetroot, carrot,...), this is normal.
5. PRACTICAL TIPS IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
Do not use the appliance in case of a malfunction or when the power cord is damaged. Please address to your sales point or contact NV van RATINGEN.
THE APPLIANCE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR DOMESTIC USE. THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS EXPIRE UPON PROFESSIONAL USE. DEFECTS AND/OF DAMAGES FOLLOWING TO THE NON OBSERVANCE OF THE USER MANUAL ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
We are entitled to make technical modifications at all times.
6. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Your warranty starts on the day of purchase and is valid for 2 years.
The user is responsible for cleaning and proper packaging of the defective appliance before presenting it for repair. It is insufficient to wrap the device in cardboard packaging with paper. Fritel is not liable for damage resulting from insufficient packaging, which also irrevocably invalidates the warranty.
Determination of the warranty
- The warranty covers every repair and/or replacement free of charge of the motor unit recognized defective by our technical department and if the damage is due to faulty manufacture, construction or material. The knives are not covered by the guarantee, as they are subject to wear and tear.
- The warranty is only valid for the first/original user.
- The transport costs, in case of reparation, are at the expenses of the purchaser.
- The warranty is only granted after presentation of your purchase invoice.
■ The warranty cannot be invoked for normal wear and tear.
The warranty expires in the following cases:
- Incorrect connection, e.g. electric voltages.
■ Abnormal or professional use or misuse handling. - In case of insufficient packaging and bad transport in case of return shipping.
■ Lack of care and cleaning.
■ Modifications or repairs made to the appliance by persons not authorized by us as a manufacturer. - When reference numbers have been altered or been removed.
- For faults not due to the appliance itself, but to an external cause, collision, damage, fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, etc.
- When not respecting the instructions in the user instructions.
For appliances that are not under warranty for any of the above reasons, all costs (transport, administration, research, handling) will be charged.

7. ENVIRONMENT

Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the environment.
8. LIABILITIES
All liabilities, towards both consumer(s) and third parties, that could result from not observing all the safety regulations prescribed in this user manual, can under no circumstances be charged to the manufacturer. In case of non-observance of these safety regulations, the user of the appliance, or any other person not having observed these safety regulations, protects the manufacturer from all responsibilities that he could be charged with.
