Safety advice and warnings

This appliance can be used by people unused to its handling, disabled people or children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised.
• Only use the appliance with the specific charger, provided with the appliance.

• If the connection is damaged it must be replaced. Take the appliance to an authorised Technical Assistance Service. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous.

• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the charger rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the charger.

• Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socketwithstanding a minimum of 10 amperes.
• The appliance's plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use plug adaptors.
• Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to lift up, carry or unplug the battery charger.
• Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
• If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
• Avoid all contact with the liquid that could be released from the battery. In case of contact with eyes, wash them thoroughly and seek medical advice. The liquid spilled from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
• Keep children and bystanders away when using this appliance.
• Do not touch any of the appliance's moving parts while it is operating.

Use and care:

• Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly fitted.
• Do not use the appliance if the accessories atta

ched to it are defective. Replace them immediately.
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not going to use it for some time.
- Disconnect the battery charger from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.

- Do not open the battery/ies under any circumstances whatsoever.
- When the battery/ies is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, screws ... that could connect a terminal to another.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a person or animal.

Service:

• Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by specialist personnel, and that only original spare parts or accessories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.
• Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.

Charging the battery

Caution: The new battery does not come completely charged and must be charged up to the maximum before using the appliance for the first time.

• Charge the battery at room temperature between 4 and 40^ C .
• Plug the charger (I) into the mains.
• A pilot light (J) will come on to indicate that the charger is ready to begin charging the battery.
• The time needed to charge completely is from 8 to 10 hours approximately. Never try to overcharge the batteries (although it is recommended that the batteries are charged for 10 hours for the first time).
• Plug the connector (H) of the charger into the socket at the lower back part of the appliance.
• When the battery is charged disconnect the charger from the mains supply.

Instructions for use

Before use:

Use:

• Use the height selector (B) to reach the desired shaving level.
• Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch.

How to shave clothes:

• Place the garment on a smooth surface.
• The remover's handle moves and adapts to the contours of the fabric. This feature also makes it suitable for removing lint from furniture and carpets.
• Do not use the appliance on garments that are being worn in order to avoid damage on the user

or garment.

• For best results, please follow these recommendations:
• For fast remove, take the remover circle and shave in small range removing to and forth on clothes (Fig. 2)
• For sticking lint, move on the clothes perpendicular and parallel until is removed (Fig. 3)
• On thin texture clothes, pile them up into two layers and shave them gently (Fig. 4)
• On clothes with protrudes or applications, avoid contact with the applications or protrudes (Fig. 5)
• On clothes with patterns, move the appliance in the direction of the pattern for better results (Fig. 6)

Once you have finished using the appliance:

• Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
• Remove the fluff container and empty it accordingly (Fig. 7).
• Clean the appliance

Cleaning

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool before undertaking any cleaning task.

• Disassemble the appliance in accordance with the following steps:
  -Take off the remover circle (Fig. 8)
  -Remove the outer foil as arrow direction (Fig. 9)
  -Take out the rotative blades and clean the blades shaft with the brush (Fig. 10).
  -Reversely install the blades and outer foil into the appliance (Fig. 11)

• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.

• Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
• Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap.

Anomalies and repair

• Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if problems arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous.

How to remove the batteries from the interior of the device:

Attention: It is important that the batteries are fully discharged prior to its withdrawal from the apparatus.

To remove the batteries, once the life of the appliance, proceed as follows:

• Open the top shell of the apparatus, removing previously with the help of a screwdriver fixing screws (Fig 12)

• Identify the battery wires and cut their (Red and Black). To avoid risks of a short circuit with a possible residual battery load, first cut the Red wire and protect it by using insulating tape, then proceed to cut the Black wire proceeding in the same way.

• Safely remove the battery from its housing.
