Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Connect 350 UHD™! It allows you to use 1 cable to connect 5 HDMI sources to your TV, without any loss of signal or encryption. It's ideal when your TV doesn't have enough HDMI inputs, or if you want to connect the devices to your TV using just one cable. Examples of HDMI sources are game consoles such as a PlayStation or Xbox, Blu-ray players, digital TV decoders and all other HDMI devices. The Connect 350 UHD™ supports Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) and all 3D formats, making it suitable for all your existing and future equipment. Before installation: x Turn off all devices (TV and HDMI sources) before connecting them to the Connect 350 UHD™. If a device cannot be turned off, please remove the plug from the socket. x Only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best picture and sound quality. 1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI sources (such as game

consoles, Blu-ray players and Digital TV Decoders) to the HDMI ports marked "HDMI input".

2. Use an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the HDMI port marked

3. If required, connect the IR receiver to the "IR" input in order to

continue to operate it when it is positioned out of sight, for example, in a closed cabinet. Remember to position the IR receiver itself within the remote control's line of sight.

4. The Connect 350 UHD™ is energy efficient and is powered by the

connected HDMI devices, thus requiring no power adapter.

5. Pull the plastic strip from the remote control's battery compartment to

activate the battery and remove the protective film from the top.

Switching between connected HDMI devices The Connect 350 UHD™ allows you to choose which HDMI source is displayed on the TV. If you turn on one of the HDMI sources, it will automatically switch to the correct input. If multiple HDMI sources are turned on, the Connect 350 UHD™ will automatically switch to the HDMI source that was activated last. If you want to select another HDMI source, please use the remote control or the "Select" button on the front. Note: Automatic switching must be supported by the HDMI source. If it is not supported, you should manually select the appropriate HDMI source.6 © MARMITEK

6. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No (or poor) image and sound If you experience poor or no picture after connecting the HDMI switcher, please try to identify the problem by connecting the devices to your screen (TV, monitor or projector) one by one. This allows you to determine whether the problem is with the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI switcher or the screen. x If none of your connected HDMI devices provides a 5V power supply via the HDMI cable, you need to power the HDMI switcher via the USB cable. Use the supplied USB power cable and plug it into any available USB port on your other devices, or use a standard USB power adapter. x For the best picture and sound quality, only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables. x Do not use HDMI cables longer than those specified in the technical data. x Check the HDMI cables and/or connectors for damage. x Both the HDMI source and your screen should fully support HDMI. x Check that your HDMI sources and screen support HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) copy protection. Incorrect 3D display x Please check whether the HDMI source is set to display 3D and/or it is set to automatic. x Both the HDMI source and your HD screen should support the same 3D formats. x Please check that 3D is displayed correctly by connecting the HDMI source directly to the HD display with an HDMI cable.
