How to charge the Eldom IAN G54 shaver?

Use the included USB-C cable (10) and plug it into a mains outlet via a 5V, 1A power adapter (not included). Full charge takes about 1h30. The LED indicator flashes during charging and stays solid at 100%.

Can I use the shaver while charging?

Yes, the device can be used directly on mains. Plug it in and turn it on with the switch (4). It is ready for immediate use.

Is the shaver waterproof?

It has IPX6 rating, meaning it resists water jets, but it is not designed for immersion or use in the shower. Do not use it for wet shaving.

How to clean the shaver?

Turn off and unplug the device. Use the included brush (9) to clean the blades and head. Never immerse the shaver in water.

How to use the integrated trimmer?

The trimmer (7) opens by pressing the button (8). Use it to trim your beard or long hairs before shaving. Close it after use.

What does the travel lock mean?

The lock prevents accidental activation during travel. To activate, turn on the device and hold down the switch (4) for a few seconds. To deactivate, repeat the same operation.

How long does the battery last?

Maximum runtime is about 1h30 after a full 1h30 charge.

Can I shave wet hair with this shaver?

No, the shaver is designed exclusively for dry shaving. Do not use it on wet hair, with gel or shaving foam.

What if the shaver does not turn on?

Check that the battery is charged or plug it into mains. Make sure the travel lock is not activated (hold the switch for 3 seconds to deactivate). If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to replace the blades?

Blades and foils are wear parts and are not covered by warranty. To replace them, open the head (2) by pressing the button (3) and remove the old unit. Install the new unit in reverse order. Purchase compatible spare parts.

1. Before using the appliance for the first time, please read carefully these Instructions for Use.
2. The appliance should be connected to sockets compliant with current parameters given on the casing.

Protect the appliance and the power cord against children under 8 years old.
5. Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of heat sources.

15. When used in the bathroom, the appliance must be disconnected after use because proximity of water is dangerous even if the appliance is turned off.
16. The appliance must not be immersed in or sprinkled with water.
17. When in operation, do not leave the appliance unattended. The power cord and the whole appliance should be regularly checked for damage. Do not turn the appliance on, if any damage has been found.
18. In the event the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced in the Manufacturer's Service Centre to prevent danger. A list of Service Centres can be found in the attachment and on the website www.eldom.eu.
19. The appliance can be repaired only in an authorised Service Centre. Any modernization or application of spare parts or elements other than the original ones is forbidden and dangerous for the user.

LED DISPLAY (5)

Battery indicator

When the device is switched on, the display indicates the battery charge status in the form of numbers.

Charging indicator

Flashes during charging and lights up to the end when power reaches 100%. Flashes when power drops to 5% to remind you to charge the unit.

Travelling Lock Indicator

The lock indicator flashes 3 times when locking and unlocking the shaver. It flashes when the lock is on.

INTENDED USE

The G54 razor features a three-blade shaver head for a perfect fit to the shape of your face and precision performance. The built-in trimmer helps to take care of beard styling. The ergonomic shape and comfortable handle guarantee comfortable handling.

SERVICE

• Before use, check the appliance is complete and undamaged.
• Remove all transport protection.
• The shaver can be used as a mains or battery powered device.
• If mains-powered, the unit is ready to use immediately.

Electric power supply

• Connect one end of the cable (10) to the socket (5) and the other end to the power supply unit (not supplied), with the parameters given above, and then to the mains.
• Connection to the mains is indicated by the indicator.
• Press the switch (4) to start work.

Charging and operation with the batt

• Connect one end of the cable (10) to the socket (6) and the other end to the power supply unit (not supplied), with the parameters given above, and then to the mains.
• Connection to the mains is indicated by the indicator.
• It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge the battery - display indication: 100% .
• Once charged, disconnect the cable from the power supply.
• Do not leave the unit plugged in for more than 24 hours.
• Press the switch (4) to start work.

USE

• Ensure the razor is clean, properly assembled.
• Check the state of charge of the battery - plug in the machine if necessary.

CAUTION. The appliance is not suitable for wet shaving and with shaving gel and foam.

• Press the switch (4) to start work.
• Place the head (2) on the skin and move it by pressing lightly.
• When finished working, switch off the appliance by pressing the switch (4) and clean it.

Travelling Lock

• The appliance has a switch lock (4) to prevent accidental operation during transport.
- To activate the interlock, switch the appliance on using the switch (4) and then hold the switch down for a few seconds.
• To deactivate the lock, hold the switch (4) down for a few seconds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, switch the appliance off and disconnect from the mains.
- Do not immerse the appliance or any of its components in water.
- Clean the cutting unit after each use.
- Clean the blades with the brush (9) provided.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• The appliance is made of materials which can be recycled.
- It should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

WARRANTY

• This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
- It cannot be used for professional purposes or for other than the intended use.
- Improper use will nullify the guarantee.
