APPROPRIATE COOKWARE

WARNING!

Only use the cookware listed in this instruction manual: Flat-bott om pans and pots (12-26 cm in diameter at the bott om) made of steel, stainless less, cast iron or enameled iron.

Cookware unsuitable for induction cooking: any cookware with a diameter of less than 12cm consisting of glass, ceramic, copper or aluminum.

Before the initial start -up, please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it in a safe place.

  • In case of failure to comply with the safety instructions or in case of improper use of the device, Springlane does not assume any liability for material damage, health damage or personal injury.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are supervised.

  • Make sure to leave enough space between the device and objects which are sensitive to electromagnetic fields (e.g. radios, TVs, etc.).
  • Do not move the device as long as cookware is placed on top of it.
  • Pots and pans must not be overheated or heated up empty. There must never be paper between the cookware and the cooking plate because it could ignite.
  • Do not use the cooking plate as a storage space for metal objects such as knives, forks, cans or aluminum foil.
  • Should the surf ace be damaged, immediately switch off the device and have it repaired by a qualified technician.

WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.

In case of service work, this product may only be opened by a qualified technician.

  • If problems occur, immediately disconnect the device from the power supply and other devices.
  • Do not operate the device if the power cord or mains connection are damaged or defect. Should the mains plug or power adapter be damaged or defect, the mains plug or power adapter must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service part ner.
  • Before operating the device, always make sure that the supply voltage is compatible with the supply voltage range shown on the type plate.
  • Connect the device to a grounded outlet. You may possibly use an extension cord with a matching conductor cross-section.
  • Do not use a wall outlet that is already connected to several

other devices or that the power plug is not suitable for.

Always fully unwind the power cord and the extension cord.
- For additional protection we recommend installing a GFCI into the circuit that supplies power to the bathroom. The GFCI needs to have a nominal fault current of a maximum of 30mA . Please ask your installer for advice.
- The device is not designed to be operated with an external time switch or with a separate remote control system.
- Do not move the device by pulling the power cord. Ensure that the power cord is not knotted. Make sure that the power cord does not hang loosely from the edge of your working surf aces and that nobody can entangle in or trip over it.

  • Never dip the device, power cord or power plug into water or other liquids.

  • Never leave the device unattended as long as it is connected to the power grid.

USAGE

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Connect the power plug to the wall socket. An acoustic signal is given and the display flashes once.
  • Place the cookware in the middle of the cooking area.
    To turn on the device, press the ON/OFF sensor. The ON/OFF display lights up constantly. On the display appears: "----".

  • Set the device according to your request.

  • Aft er use, press the ON/OFF sensor in order to switch the device to standby mode.
  • Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket.
  • Let the device cool down completely.

The double induction hob is equipped with an overheat protection. If the cookware becomes too hot, the device switches off automatically and "E02" is shown on the display. Should the cookware become too hot, wait a few minutes and let the cooking plate cool down. After that, you can continue to use the device without restrictions.

SETTING THE POWER

The left cooking zone can be adjusted from 500 W to 1800 W, the right cooking zone can be adjusted from 500 W to 1700 W.

  • Press the power sensor. The power display lights up. The left display shows "1200". The right display shows "1000".
  • Touch the + / - butt ons in order to increase or decrease power.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

The cooking zones can be adjusted from 60^ to 240^ .

  • Press the temperature butt on. The temperature display lights up. The display shows "220".
  • Touch the + / - sensors in order to increase or decrease the temperature.

SETTING THE TIMER

  • Press the timer butt on. The timer display lights up. The display shows "0".
  • Touch the + / - butt ons in order to increase or decrease the time on the timer.
  • Press the timer butt on to confirm or wait until the display stops blinking.
  • An acoustic signal is emitted at the end of the countdown and the device switches to standby mode

In order to cancel the function:

  • Press the ON/OFF switch in order to turn to standby mode. The timer displays shuts off.

  • Press the timer butt on and hold it pressed in order to get back to operating the device with the adjusted power and temperature settings. The timer display shuts off.

LOCKING THE DEVICE

The device can be locked in order to prevent unintended operation.

  • Press the locking butt on in order to lock the power sensor, temperature sensor and timer sensor. The lock display lights up.

In order to cancel the function:

  • Press the ON/OFF switch to unlock the device. The lock display shuts off.
  • Press the lock butt on and keep it pressed to unlock the device. The lock display shuts off.

CLEANING AND CARE

WARNING!

  • Always turn off the device and remove the power plug from the socket before cleaning and wait until the device has cooled down completely.
  • Do not use any abrasive detergents or solvents.
  • Never dip the device into water or other liquids.
  • Do not try to repair the device

yourself. If it does not work properly, replace it for a new one.

  • Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the device. You may use some neutral detergent. Thoroughly dry off the device with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Dry clean the ventilation opening with a soft brush.
