General Notes
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the device off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The device and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the device must not be used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

WARNING: Risk of burning!
- The water in the appliance gets hot! Special caution is required when stirring food or removing the vessel from the water bath.

Always check the temperature of the food before feeding it to the child. For more information, refer to chapter "Instructions" "Checking the temperature".

Never place the appliance on a source of heat.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance understand the hazards involved.

Cleaning and maintenance by the user shall not be made by children unless they are older 8 years and supervised.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Children shall not play with the appliance. - Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by a qualified person and with a cable of the same type.

Only use the appliance in a dry, indoor area. It is intended for domestic use and similar areas of use such as e.g.

It is not intended for applications in agricultural properties.
- Only use the appliance for heating or keeping warm liquid or soft food.
- Do not heat food for too long.

CAUTION:
Do not immerse the device into water for cleaning. Please follow the instructions as stipulated in the chapter "Cleaning".
Supplied parts
Unpacking the appliance
- Remove the packaging of the appliance.
- Remove all packaging material such as plastic film, filler material, cable ties and box packaging.

Check that all the parts are in the box.

Do not operate the appliance if package contents is incomplete or appear damaged. Return it immediately to the dealer.

NOTE:
There may still be dust or production residues on the appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".

Instructions
- This appliance can be used for heating and keeping warm food in commercially available baby bottles and baby food jars.
- We recommend not keeping food warm for long, but to feed it as soon as possible. Especially at temperatures of 25^ to 42^ , the food is a very good breeding ground for bacteria and germs. Any leftover food should not be reused for the same reason.
- When heating convenience food, first remove the label attached to the jar. Otherwise it could come off in the water bath and clog the inside walls of the appliance or get into the heating plate. Also remove the lid of the jar.
We recommend filling the baby food into the cup provided in order to heat it. - Stir soft food from time to time.
- The lid is intended for protecting the appliance against dust. Remove it before operating the appliance.
Location
A skid-proof, even surface is suitable as installation location. It should be resistant to moisture.
Adding water
- We recommend using boiled or filtered water in order to reduce the formation of limescale.

Always add water before operating the appliance.
-
The amount of water depends on the size of the vessel. For more examples, please refer to the table in chapter "Heating time".
- When using the settings 1 and 2, water should be added to a maximum of approx. 1 cm below the edge of the appliance with the vessel standing inside the appliance.
- Make sure that no water spills over. Should the exterior walls of the appliance should get wet though, wipe them dry before connecting the appliance to the mains.
- When using the cup provided with setting 3, add a maximum of 50ml in order for the water not to boil over.
Electrical connection
- Ensure that your mains power corresponds with the specifications of the appliance. The specifications are printed on the type label.
- Tum the temperature control to the OFF position.
- Connect the mains cable to correctly installed and earthed socket.
Switching on / off
Use the temperature control to turn the appliance on or off. The control lamp indicates the heating process.

Heating time
The heating time depends on different factors:
The type of food
The amount of food
- Original temperature of the food
- Temperature of the added water
- Material of the vessel (glass/plastic).
The following table provides reference criteria for the heating time when heating to a temperature of 37^ :

Checking the temperature

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Always check the temperature of the food before feeding it to your child.
- Shake the baby bottle or stir the mush in the jar/cup respectively.
- Check the temperature of the bottle content by drizzling some drops of milk on the inside of your wrist. There should only be a small difference to your own body temperature.
- If the milk is too hot, let it cool down by holding the bottle under cold water.
- Check the temperature of mush by tasting it yourself.
- If the mush is too hot, stir it until it has cooled down.
After use
- Turn the temperature control to OFF position.
- Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
- Pour the water from the vessel. Let the appliance cool down, before wiping it dry with a cloth.
Cleaning

WARNING:
- Always pull the power supply plug before cleaning.
- Allow the appliance to cool down.
- Never immerse the base in water for cleaning. It could result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive items.

Never use sharp or scouring cleaning materials.
-
Clean the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth only.
- Clean the cup and the lid in warm soapy water. Dry the parts with a cloth afterwards.
Removing limescale
Limescale forms on the heating surface of the appliance after multiple use. Regularly remove these deposits in order to ensure proper operation of the appliance.
- The intervals between removing limescale depend on the hardness of the water and the frequency of using the appliance.
- Do not use vinegar, but a commercially available limescale removal product based on citric acid. Follow the manufacturer's instruction.
- Do not heat any food during this process.
- Pour away the liquid after removing limescale. Rinse the appliance with cold water and then wipe it dry with a cloth.
Storage
- Clean the device as described and allow to dry completely.
- Cover the appliance with the lid to protect it against dust.
We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if the appliance will be not used for long periods.
Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place.
