6Before using the Car&Dog vacuum cleaner accessory set it is essential to read and observe the Warning and Safety instructions in the Operating instructions for your vacuum cleaner. Safety notes for the hand-held mini turbobrush This mini turbobrush conforms to current safety requirements. Improper use can, however, lead to personal injury and damage to property. To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to this turbobrush, please read these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. They contain important information on its safety, use and maintenance. Keep these instructions in a safe place and ensure new users are familiar with the content. Pass them on to any future owner. Correct application

This mini turbobrush must only be used for vacuuming dry surfaces. Do not use on people or animals. Any other use, modification or alteration to the brush, is not permitted. Miele cannot be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect or improper use or operation. Safety with children

Keep young children away from the mini turbobrush at all times and do not let them play with it whilst you are using it. They could catch hold of the rotating roller and injure themselves. Please supervise its use by older children and the elderly or infirm. Technical safety

Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains supply when you have finished using it, as well as for maintenance work and cleaning. Switch off at the wall socket and unplug it.

Do not let the mini turbobrush get wet. If it needs cleaning only do so with a dry cloth or slightly damp cloth. If moisture gets into the appliance, there is a risk of electric shock. Correct use

Never touch the roller of the mini turbobrush while it is rotating. Danger of injury.

Do not vacuum up items which are heavy, hard or have sharp edges. They could block the mini turbobrush and the vacuum cleaner and cause damage.

S 6000 – S 6799 Using the accessories (see illustrations on pages 2 and 3) a Flexible crevice nozzle For accessing awkward to reach areas. b Active Air Clean filter This filter absorbs odours from the dirt collected in the dustbag. c Hand-held mini turbobrush For cleaning upholstery, car seats, stair carpets etc. The rotating roller brush is ideal for removing hair and fluff. It is important to observe the manufacturer's cleaning and care instructions for the surface being vacuumed. d Hygiene cap Prevents dust and odours escaping when the suction hose has been removed from the vacuum cleaner. Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the electrical supply for maintenance and cleaning of the mini turbobrush. Switch off at the wall socket and remove the plug. Removing threads and hairs

Cut any threads or hairs that have become entangled in the roller brush with a pair of scissors. Then run the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the bits. For more obstinate tangles or blockages inside the hand-held turbobrush, the cover can be opened. Any large particles inside it can then be easily removed. ^ Turn the grip so that the release button is in the middle of the guide (illustration a).

Press the release button (illustation b) and pull the grip out from the hand-held turbobrush as far as possible (illustration c).

Lift the upper part of the casing as far as it will go and remove any debris from the inside of the casing and from the roller brush.

Close the casing, and push the grip back into position until it clicks into place over the release button.
