4. Getting started and operation

4.1 Starting up the clock

Open the battery compartment cover (1), insert one AA battery, ensuring that the battery is inserted correctly in terms of polarity, and then close the battery compartment cover (1). The clock is ready for operation.

  • Turn the setting wheel (2) on the back in the direction indicated by the arrow to set the current time (hours/minutes).
  • To set the seconds, remove the battery to stop the seconds. Put the battery back in to start the seconds hand again at the right second.
  • Move the setting wheel (3) on the back of the alarm clock in the direction of the arrow to set the appropriate alarm time. The hand for the alarm time moves in an anticlockwise direction.
  • Pull the sliding switch (4) on the back outward or up to enable the alarm. An alarm will sound at the set alarm time.
  • Press the sliding switch (4) down to shut off and disable the alarm.4

Press the Light button (5) to activate the LED lighting.

6. Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure that water does not get into the product.
