| B | adjustable bridge G handle | |||
| C | tile positioner with adjustable angle H cutting disk guard | |||
| C1 | lateral lock knobs I cutting disk | |||
| C2 | tile holding edge J table frame | |||
| C3 | angular lock knob K blade guard holding | screw | (2x) | |
| D | tilt angle lock knob (2x) | L | water pump | |
6. Installation
- First assemble the table frame [J]. Place the top part upside down on the floor (narrow edge of L-shaped frame facing down: ) and mount on each corner a leg with 4 bolts (screw hand tight).
- Place a rubber foot on each of the four legs.
- Turn the table frame upright (resting on the 4 rubber feet).
- Tighten all the bolts firmly and verify that the table frame is stable.
- Place the frame on a level, steady, non-slippery surface.
- Place the water reservoir on the frame.
- Locate the position of the water pump [L] in the water reservoir. Place the pump [L] as shown in the illustrations on page 2 and press it down until it snaps into place.
- Fill the water reservoir, making sure that the pump inlet is completely under water. Do not operate the tile cutter with an empty reservoir or too low water level.
- Place the table with adjustable bridge [B] on top of the water reservoir. Make sure the cables from the water pump [L] are not squeezed.
7. Operation
Always wear safety goggles, safety gloves and ear protection when operating the tile cutter!
- Make sure the On/Off switch [A] is in the off-position and connect the power cord to the mains.
- Place a tile against the graduated ruler [F] or use the tile positioner with adjustable angle [C] to place the tile under an angle. Loosen the lateral lock knobs [C1] to move the positioner lateral, loosen the angular lock knob [C3] to set the desired angle and tighten the knob [C3]. Place a tile against the tile holding edge [C2] and tighten the lateral lock knobs [C1] to secure the tile position.
- Make sure the cutting disk [I] doesn't touch the tile and switch on the tile cutter by pressing the on/off switch [A]. Wait a few seconds to allow the disc to reach full speed. Make sure that water is sprayed on the disc. If not, switch off the machine and check the water level and pump [L].
- Firmly hold the tile in place and gently slide the cutting disc [I] along the adjustable bridge [F] towards the tile. Do not force. Always cut towards the graduated ruler [F], otherwise the spinning disc will push the tile upwards.
- When finished cutting the tile move the cutting disc [I] back to the other end of the adjustable bridge [Γ] and switch off the cutter by pressing the on/off switch [A]. Γeware that the cutting disc keeps spinning for a while before coming to a full stop!
- To cut tile edges under an angle, loosen both tilt angle lock knobs [D] and tilt the adjustable bridge [Γ] in the desired angle (max. 45^ ). Secure the tilt angle lock knobs [D].
After use, remove the power cord from the mains and dispose of the water in the water reservoir before storing the tile cutter. - When the cutting disc shows signs of wearing, replace it immediately. Refer to §8 for the correct procedure.
8. utting disc replacement
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

Before replacing the cutting disc, switch off the tile cutter and remove the power cord from the mains.
- Remove the cutting disk guard [H]. To do this, remove the two screws [K] and lift the guard over the cutting disk. Be careful not to damage the water hose.
- Place the included hex spanner over the nut [5] and place the shaft holder tool (included) over the narrow end [6] of the motor shaft [1].
- Hold the shaft holder tool firmly and turn the nut [5] clockwise.
- Remove the nut [5], the outer flange [4] and the cutting disc [3] from the motor shaft [1]. Note that the inner flange [2] has an edge which fits in the arbor hole of the cutting disc. Always mount the inner flange [2] at the inside (closest to the engine)
- Make sure the new cutting disc has the right specifications (see §10). Never use segmented disc types.
- When spinning, the cutting disc rotates clockwise when looking from the narrow end of the shaft [6]. Always respect the rotation direction indicated on the disc!
- Slide the cutting disk [3] and the outer flange [4] over the motor shaft [1].
- Screw the nut [5] on the motor shaft [1]. To secure it tightly, place the included hex spanner over the nut [5] and place the shaft holder tool over the narrow end [6] of the motor shaft [1]. Hold the shaft holder tool firmly and turn the nut [5] counter clockwise.
- Remount the blade guard [H] with the 2 screws and washers (2 per screw).
