3. Description of the device

The flow-through water heater with electronic control automatically regulates the heating power, which allows maintaining a constant water temperature at the outlet, taking into account the maximum power of the device. When the maximum power of the device is exceeded, the water temperature is regulated using a water-mixing valve.

Heating system

The heating system with a closed heating element is protected by a sealed plastic housing. The heating system is rigid and durable, as it is practically insensitive to scale formation. The heating system provides fast and efficient supply of hot water.

AEG DDLE LCD 182124 - Heating system - 1

Note

The device is equipped with an air vent system that prevents damage to the heating system. If air enters the device during operation, the device switches off the heating for one minute, thus protecting its heating system.

4. Settings

The temperature of the hot water at the outlet is regulated steplessly. The set temperature value is displayed on the display. If the temperature exceeds 43°C, the indicator lights up red, warning of the danger of scalding.

AEG DDLE LCD 182124 - Settings - 1

» Set the regulator knob to the required temperature.

Note: If the hot water tap is fully open, the temperature is set to the maximum value, but if the water at the outlet is not sufficiently heated, it means that more water is passing through the device than it can heat (the device has reached its maximum power). In this case, it is necessary to reduce the water flow at the draw-off valve.

Note: If the hot water tap is fully open, the temperature is set to the maximum value, but if the water at the outlet is not sufficiently heated, it means that more water is passing through the device than it can heat (the device has reached its maximum power). The thermostatic mixing valve is intended for central mixing, for example, of water from a instantaneous water heater in a complete installation.

9.2 Plumbing work

Installation of a safety valve is not required. Thoroughly flush the water supply system. It is necessary to ensure that the volume flow (see chapter "Technical characteristics / Parameter table") is sufficient for the device to switch on. If the volume flow remains below the required level, the volume flow limiter must be removed (see chapter "Mounting / Dismounting the volume flow limiter"). If, with the valve fully open, the volume flow remains below the required level for the device to switch on, the pressure in the water supply system must be increased.

Valve

Use shut-off valves. It is forbidden to use drain valves.

AEG DDLE LCD 182124 - Valve - 1

Note

The shut-off valve on the cold water supply must not be used to reduce the flow! It leads to blocking of the device.
