WARNING - To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
1. Use the vacumm for its intended use only.
2. Do not immerse any part of
the system in water or other liquids. Do not use outside or on wet surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not carry by the chord. Make sure the cord is not pulled around corners, trapped in doorways or underneath the appliance.
Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the vacuum. You should return the unit to the manufacturer for examination and repair. Incorrect re-assembly or repair can cause a risk of electrical shock or injury.

Attaching the Crevice Tool and the Floor Brush to the Main Body:
1. Push the crevice tool or oor brush into the front suction opening.
(Fig. 2) The following are recommendations for accessory usage: Crevice Tool: For radiators, crevices, corners, base-boards and between cushions. Floor Brush: For all kinds of ooring, including carpeted and tiled oors. Winding And Unwinding The Power Cord: This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a convenient cord storage feature. This unit also has a quick release cord hook. Wind the power cord around the cord hook. To unwind the power cord, simply twist the quick release cord hook to the left or right. Fig. 212
Caution: The front suction opening must be clear and free from any obstruction at all times otherwise the motor will overheat and become damaged. Using the Unit as an Upright Vacuum - Insert the extensions tube into the hand vacuum - Choose the appropriate accessory (crevice tool or floor brush) and attach it to suction hole opening on the hand vacuum. Note: You may choose not to attach the crevice tool or oor brush when operating as an upright vacuum cleaner. - Press the “1” on the On/Off power switch to turn the unit on. When nished using the unit, press the “0” on the On/Off power switch to turn the unit off. - When you have finished using the unit, wind the power cord around the cord winding hooks for easy storage. Using the Unit as a Hand Vacuum Disconnect the metal extension pipe from the hand vacuum by releasing the handle port from the locking clip and removing the metal extension pipe from the handle. Please Note: The Dustcup Filter is washable. It should, however, be replaced every 3-6 months (depending on usage) to ensure the best performance from your vacuum cleaner. Replacement dustcup filters can be ordered from www.duronic.co.uk. There are different versions of the VC6 with different cups. Please contact sales@duronic.c o.uk with your order ID and one of our members will instruct you on the exact part you need.
