We recommend that when using your product you operate the motor unit in short on/off pulses. This will give better chopping, mixing, etc. It will also protect the motor against a too long use.
The chopper is designed to be used exclusively in its delivery state (bowl, lid and blades in good state) because it gives all the needed securities. Do not try to substitute one of those pieces by another one and if you have to replace one, contact your after-sales service.
Caution: your appliance has a security device that avoids excessive starting. Do not try to overrule this device, as it could be very dangerous for you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

MOUNTING AND USE OF THE MINI-CHOPPER (see page 3)

Caution: for your own safety and a good functioning it is absolutely necessary to respect the mounting described hereunder.

  • Place the blade of the mixer fitting in the jug (1).
  • Put the ingredients in the jug.
  • Place the lid on the jug respecting the positioning of its openings-out (2). If necessary, turn the lid until it is correctly placed on the jug.
  • Place the unplugged motor block on the jug (3) respecting the positioning of the openings-out. If the motor block is not mounted correctly, it will be impossible to start the appliance.
  • Plug in the appliance.
    To start, press the motor block with your hand holding the jug with the other hand.
    To remove food, unplug and proceed the other way round, but pay attention not to get injured, as the blade is very sharp.

TIPS FOR USE

  • Your appliance is not intended to work for long periods. So if your preparation requires more than 1 minute of continuous use, it is absolutely necessary to follow breaks. The breaks should last at least 2 minutes to allow the motor to cool down.
    We advise you to chop the food by fits and starts and if necessary to mix them with a spatula between two chopping processes following the safety instructions.
    If you chop pieces of meat or cheese, we advise you to cut them into small pieces of 1 to 1.5cm beforehand in order to obtain a homogeneous and fine chopping. Otherwise you could obtain lumps in your preparation.

CLEANING

Unplug from outlet before cleaning.
- You can wipe the motor block with a lightly damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid. If this happens, do not plug it in, let it dry for at least 24 hours before using it again. If this is not enough, bring your appliance back to a competent qualified electrician.

To clean the blade, the jug and the lid, use soapy water, rinse with clear water and dry. Pay attention not to hurt yourself as the blade is very sharp.
To make the cleaning easier, you can disassemble the parts that are in contact with the food.
