SHOCK! Do not use the heating pad if it is damp. There is a risk of electric shock. Do not use the mains power cable for purposes for which it was not intended, e.g. for hanging up the electric heating pad, carrying it or to pull the plug out of the mains socket. Keep the mains power cable away from heat, oil and sharp IMPORTANT ADVICE –

If the mains power cable is damaged or severed, do not touch the mains power ca- ble, but pull the mains plug out of the mains socket immediately. Damaged or tangled mains power cables increase the risk of electric shock.
SHOCK! The heating pad must be regularly checked for signs of wear or damage. If signs of wear or damage are detected or if the heat- ing pad has been used improperly, you must cease using the heating pad and return it to your dealer or to his customer service centre. There is a risk of electric shock.
SHOCK! Do not stick needles or sharp objects into the heating pad. There is a risk of electric shock. If you use a cardiac pacemaker, please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of the pacemaker before using this heating pad. The electric and magnetic fields generated by this electric heat- ing pad may under certain circumstances inter- fere with the operation of cardiac pacemakers. However, the levels are far below the permissi- ble limits: details of these levels can be found in the „Technical data“ chapter. Have the heating pad repaired only by qualified specialist personnel using original manufacturer parts only. This will en- sure that the heating pad remains safe to use. If the mains power cable of this heating pad is damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer or its service department or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. Risk of injury. Children or anyone lacking the knowledge or experience to use the heating pad, or anyone with restricted physical, sensory or mental ca- pacities, must not use the heating pad without supervision or instruction by a person responsi- ble for their safety. Children must be super- vised to ensure that they do not play with the heating pad. Risk of injury.
BURNS! Do not use this heating pad for helpless persons, infants or persons who are insensitive to heat (e.g. dia- betics, people with disease-related changes to the skin or scarred skin in the area of use, or after taking pain-relieving medication or con- suming alcohol). There is a risk of receiving skin burns. The textiles used in this heating pad meet the high human ecological requirements of Öko- Tex Standard 100, as verified by the German Hohenstein Research Institute.
BURNS! This heating pad must not be used by children unless the con- trol
has been preset by a parent or other responsible person, or unless the child has been instructed sufficiently in how to use this heating pad safely. There is a risk of receiving skin burns. CAUTION! Take care that you do not fall asleep while the heating pad is in operation. Excessively long use can cause skin burns. Do not use the heating pad on any part of the body that is inflamed, injured or swollen. Seek medical advice before using the heating pad if in doubt. Such inflammation, injuries and / or swelling may otherwise worsen. Repairs must only be carried out by specially trained personnel or at a repair shop author- ised by the manufacturer, since special tools are necessary. Unsatisfactory repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user. Avoid damage to the heating pad! Please ensure that you:

- only use the heating pad in conjunction with the control unit
indicated on the heating pad (label),
- do not operate the heating pad without su- pervision,
do not switch the heating pad on if it is folded or bunched up,
- do not cause any sharp creases in the heating pad,
- do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase or washing basket, on the heating pad when it is switched on,
- do not place any sources of heat, e.g. hot wa- ter bottle or similar, on the heating pad when it is switched on. These may all damage the heating pad. Do not cover the control
and do not place it on the heating pad when the pad is in operation. The electronic components in the control
the heating pad cause the control
to heat up slightly during operation. Do not pull, twist or crease the cables. The heating pad may otherwise be damaged. Safety system Note: the heating pad is equipped with a safety system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the heating pad from overheat- ing by automatically switching off in the event of a fault. If the safety system switches the heating pad off automatically due to a fault, then the function display
is no longer illu- minated, even if the heating pad is switched on. Please note that, for safety reasons, the heating pad must not be used after a fault and must be returned to the service address indicated. Preparing the product for use Note: the heating pad may smell of plastic the first time you use it, but this will disappear after a short period of time. To begin, first connect the control
to the heating pad with the plug-in connector
(see fig. B). Position the heating pad on your back so that the fastener for the neck section is in the throat area. Then close the fastener. Then adjust the length of the belt around your stomach and fit the two ends of the connector together (see Fig. C) to fasten the belt. To open the belt, press the two catches on the connector at the same time (see Fig. C). Switching on / off / Selecting the temperature Switching on: Set Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 on the control
illuminates after the heating pad is switched on. Note: this heating pad features rapid heating, which allows it to heat up within the first 10 minutes of operation. Switching off: Set Level 0 on the control
ceases to illumi- nate. Selecting the temperature: Just before using the heating pad, set it to the highest temperature setting (level 6). This will cause the heating pad to warm up quickly. (see fig. A). Level 0: Off Level 1: minimum heat Level 2–5: customised settings Level 6: maximum heat Automatic switch-off Note: The heating pad switches itself off automati- cally after about 90 minutes. The function display
then starts to flash. Then select the setting „0“ and after about 5 seconds, reset the heating pad to the desired temperature setting to switch it on again. Switch the heating pad off (setting „0“) if the heating pad is not to be used after it has switched itself off automatically. Cleaning and Care

For ecological reasons, please only wash the heating pad together with other textiles. Use a mild laundry detergent according to the manu- facturer’s instructions. Please note that frequent washing will cause wear to the heating pad. The heating pad should therefore be washed no more than max. 10 times in a washing machine through- out its useful life.

PRODUCT OR PROPERTY! Do not crease the heating pad by plac- ing items on top of it during storage. Otherwise material damage could occur. If you do not intend to use the heating pad for any length of time, store it in the original pack- aging in a dry environment and without weigh- ing it down. Disposal The packaging and packaging material consist of environmentally friendly mate- rials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility. Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household rubbish! In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC for waste electrical and electronic equipment and its transposition into national legis- lation, worn out electrical devices must be collected separately and taken for environmentally compati- ble recycling. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn out heating pad. Warranty / Service centre We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in materials or manufacture of the product from the purchase date. The warranty does not cover: – Damage resulting from improper use. – Wear parts. – Defects that were known to the customer at the time of purchase. – Damage for which the customer was responsi- ble. This warranty does not affect the customer‘s legal rights. The customer must provide proof of purchase in order for any warranty claims within the warranty period to be honoured. Claims under the warranty are honoured by MGG Elektro GmbH-Service c / o Dachser GmbH & Co. KG Thomas-Dachser-Str. 1 89129 Langenau, Germany for a period of 3 years after the date of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, the customer has the right to have the goods repaired by our own workshop or a workshop authorised by us. The heating pad must not be opened for any reason. Opening or modifying the device invalidates the warranty. This warranty does not grant any addi- tional rights to the customer. Complaints are often initiated by difficulties encountered during use. Many of these complaints can be resolved by tele- phone or email.
