1F KOGNING AF FOR LIDT VAND
Follow basic safety precautions, including: 1 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years. ¬ The surfaces of the appliance will get hot. 2 If you overfill, the kettle may spit boiling water. 3 Use the kettle only with the stand supplied (and vice versa). 4 If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or someone similarly qualified, to avoid hazard. H Don’t put the kettle, stand, cable, or plug in any liquid. 5 Keep the kettle, stand, and cable away from the edges of worktops. 6 Don’t use the kettle for any purpose other than heating water. 7 Don’t operate the appliance if it’s damaged or malfunctions. household use only

C GENERAL 15 To avoid the risk of splashing, pour slowly and don’t over-tilt the kettle. 16 You may notice discolouration on the floor of the kettle. Don’t worry – this is due to the bonding of the element to the kettle floor.
1F USING WITH INSUFFICIENT WATER
17 This will shorten the life of the element. A boil-dry cut-out will switch the kettle off. 18 To reset the cut-out, remove the kettle from the stand and leave it till it goes cold before replacing it on the stand.
C CARE AND MAINTENANCE
19 Unplug the stand, and let the kettle cool before cleaning. 20 Wipe the kettle, inside and out, with a damp cloth 21 Open the lid. 22 Push the hook on top of the filter down, then lift the filter out of the kettle. 23 Rinse the filter under a running tap while brushing with a soft brush. 24 Lower the filter into the kettle, and engage the bottom hook in the bottom of the spout. 25 Press the top of the filter towards the kettle, to lock the hook in place. 26 Close the lid. Descale regularly, (at least monthly). 27 Descale the appliance at least monthly with a proprietary descaler. Follow the instructions on the package of descaler. , Products returned under guarantee with faults due to scale will be subject to a repair charge.
