USER MANUAL CMM 6 TEAM
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any changes except under special instruction from Team International BELGI-M. Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician. Therefore check its state regularly.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions. It is not designed for commercial use, never use outdoors.
Never immerse the motor unit or the supply cord of the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place the motor unit into the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Always use the appliance on a dry and level surface.
The appliance has to be unplugged from the power supply before cleaning the appliance, changing the accessories or when not in use. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician (1). Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Do not let the supply cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.
Only use this appliance for cooking purposes. It is only designed to cut raw or cooked boneed meat or possibly bread. If you wish to cut frozen food, use exclusively special blades.
This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section "Important information" in the instruction manual.
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food. Check the section "CARE AND CLEANING" in the instruction manual.
The blade of this appliance is extremely sharp, always be very careful when cleaning the appliance.
Make sure your hands and/or any kind of utensil stay clear of the receptacle when the appliance is in use in order to avoid serious injuries. Never touch the accessories when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever. nplug the appliance.
Make sure the accessory is solidly and correctly tightened at the motor block before starting the appliance.
You may use a scraper (to clean the blades) only when the appliance is unplugged.
When mixing warm liquid, be particularly careful as a projection of warm liquid could cause serious burns.
Never use this appliance to mix boiling liquids.
The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food that have to be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
Never touch the blade when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the blade in any way whatsoever.
Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION (valid for all accessories)
This appliance is not intended for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging, and check that no parts are damaged or missing.
- Read these instructions carefully!
- Wash the blades of the electric knife in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the motor unit and blade support of the electric knife with a damp cloth.
- Rinse the leg under warm running water, wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Remove the stainless steel whisk from the whisk body and wash in warm soapy water, wipe the whisk body with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
USING THE STICK MIXER (motor unit and leg)
- Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
- Screw the shaft onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. You should place the symbol on the motor unit in front of the opened padlock on the shaft and then screw it to the motor unit, so that the closed padlock ends up in front of the symbol . Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the shaft is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
- Put the ingredients into a suitable container (such as a mixing bowl or pan). Do not overfill to prevent splashing.
- Plug the unit into a suitable mains socket.
- Hold the unit securely and press the on/off button. We recommend that the motor unit is operated in short on/off pulses.
- When mixing liquids ensure the blade is fully immersed before switching on the appliance to prevent splashing.
- Never remove the unit from the liquid until the blade has totally stopped spinning.
USING THE WHISK (motor unit, whisk body and removable stainless steel whisk)
- Screw the whisk body onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. You should place the symbol on the motor unit in front of the opened padlock on the whisk body and then screw it to the motor unit, so that the closed padlock ends up in front of the symbol . Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the whisk body is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
- Insert the whisk into the whisk body, making sure that it is tight.
Press the on/off button. - Do not touch the whisk while it is moving.

USING THE ELECTRIC KNIFE (motor unit, blade support of the electric knife and blades)
- Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
- Screw the blade support onto the screw thread at the bottom of the motor unit. You should place the symbol on the motor unit in front of the opened padlock on the blade support and then screw it to the motor unit, so that the closed padlock ends up in front of the symbol. Using gentle hand pressure only ensures that the blade support is fully tightened onto the motor unit.
- Remove the blades from the protective covering. Hold on to the blades with the thumb and forefinger in such a way that the cutting edges face downwards; then press the back-ends of the blades into the opening provided for that purpose until they lock into place.
- Plug in your appliance and press the safety switch and the on/off switch at the same time. Now the appliance is ready for use. Do not use a cutting motion, simply hold the knife gently in place; it will do the cutting automatically. Cutting takes place smoothly and without effort. With your electric knife you can cut as needed, either vertically or on a slant.
Caution: Do not use your knife to cut bones or frozen food. It is not meant for this purpose.
- When you have finished using your electric knife, release the buttons and pull out the plug. Then press the eject button. The blades can now be easily removed.

CARE AND CLEANING

Motor unit
-
Do NOT immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, and do not put it into a dishwasher.
- Do NOT exceed the recommended maximum operating times as detailed in the table "RECIPHE INFORMATION AND OPERATING GUIDELINES" of this instruction manual.

To clean your product, wipe the outer surfaces of the unit with a dry and slightly damp cloth.
- Ensure that the unit is dry before using it anew.
Periodically check the cord for signs of wear.
2. Detachable metal leg
- Wash the leg in warm soapy water.
- Allow to dry thoroughly.
After processing salty food, rinse the leg immediately under running water.
3. Blade support of the electric knife
- Wipe with a damp cloth.
4. Blade of the electric knife
- Wash the blades of the electric knife in warm soapy water.
- Take care when handling the sharp blades.
If you want to clean the individual blades, do so by pushing the blades along the groove upwards until they can be removed from the holding pin. To mount, reverse the process.
The blades need no special maintenance. - Sharpening is not necessary as the blades are self-sharpening due to the permanent friction of the blades during use.
After cleaning place the blades in the protective covering and store away.
5. Whisk body
- Wipe the whisk body with a damp cloth.
6. Removable stainless steel whisk
- Wash the removable stainless steel whisk in warm soapy water.
- Allow to dry thoroughly.
WHEN PROCESSING FOODS WITH COLOUR (E.G. CARROS) SOME PARTS MAY BECOME DISCOLOURED. FOLLOW THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE - THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR PRODUCT.
