ASSEMBLY

A. Base

The upper and lower part of the base must be fitted together before using the fan. Insert the upper part (8) into the lower part (9) of the base, then press the upper part of the base onto the lower part of the base till it clicks. Fix the two parts together with the 3 screws provided. Do not over-tighten these screws.

B. Guards

  1. Loosen the cap (2) from the motor housing by rotating it clockwise.
  2. Loosen the guard mounting ring (5) from the motor housing by rotating it anti-clockwise.
  3. Position the rear guard (6) firmly against the motor housing and fasten by turning the guard mounting ring (5) clockwise tightly.
  4. Remove and discard the PVC sleeve on the motor shaft.
  5. Place the blade (3) along the motor shaft, locating the slot at the back of the blade on the drive pin that passes through the motor shaft.
  6. Fasten it firmly with the cap (2) by turning anti-clockwise.
  7. Fit the front guard (1) and the rear guard (6) together with the clips provided. Attach the front guard (1) to the rear guard (5) with the position fixer located on the front guard rim, and then fit them together with the clips provided.
  8. To ensure that it is impossible to have access to the fan blade without using a tool, a screw is provided with this appliance in order to attach both parts of the mesh guard together. This screw must be tightened on the lower part of the guards. We cannot be held responsible for any injuries in case this screw had not been tightened before using the appliance.

OPERATION

This appliance is equipped with 3 ventilation speeds. To switch on the appliance, press one of the speed knobs. To switch it off, press "0".

CLEANING AND CARE

Always disconnect the power supply cable from the power supply before carrying out any cleaning operation.
To remove dirt from the plastic surfaces, use a cloth moistened with a little water. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the guards without having to disassemble them.
