☐ Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
☐ Plug in the appliance only on a socket with a earth terminal.
☐ If necessary, use an extension with a earth wire and with a section of minimum 3 x 1 mm ^2 . Unwind it completely in order to avoid that it heats up and make sure the extension never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

HOW TO USE YOUR APPLIANCE

Before the first use

  • Before using your appliance for the first time clean the different pieces with a damp cloth and take away the carton wedges. Run the stone under running water (you can use a sponge to improve the cleaning). Never use abrasive or cleaning products. Rinse thoroughly and let dry.
  • Place the polished face of the stone to the top. Make sure that the stone is correctly placed on the base.
  • Oil the polished surface with a kitchen paper or with a small brush coated with heating-resistant table oil (olive or groundnut oil). Let oil penetrate the stone and then take away the superfluous oil.

During the use

  • Place the appliance on a table or a flat surface. Never place it on a (hot) cooking plate.
