How to use the oven for the first time?

Before use, remove all packaging, clean the exterior with a damp cloth and wash the rack and tray with soapy water. Place the oven on a flat and stable surface. Run empty at 230°C for 15 minutes using the convection function to eliminate new odors.

What cooking functions are available?

The Proline CN19 oven offers three functions: Grill (top heating element), Bottom cooking (bottom heating element), and Convection (both elements together). Use the function knob to select.

How to set the timer?

Turn the timer knob clockwise to the desired time (max 90 minutes). The red indicator light turns on. A beep sounds at the end of cooking. For continuous cooking, set the knob to ON.

Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?

No, it is forbidden to line the oven with aluminum foil as it could cause overheating and a fire hazard. Use only the recommended accessories.

How to clean the oven after use?

Unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool completely. Wipe exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth. Wash the rack and tray with hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Never use chemical or abrasive products.

What is the maximum recommended load?

The maximum recommended weight for food placed on the rack or tray is 3.5 kg. Distribute food evenly for uniform cooking.

Can the oven be used by children?

Yes, from 8 years old under supervision. Children under 8 must be kept away. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children unless they are over 8 and supervised.

What to do if the power cable is damaged?

Can I use glass or ceramic containers?

No, do not use glass or ceramic pots in this oven. Preferably use recommended oven-safe dishes (metal or special oven glass).

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions carefully before operating the toaster oven. Keep them for further reference.

• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or any parts of the oven in water or other liquids.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or coun or touch hot surfaces.
• The use of accessory or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Turn off and unplug the oven from the mains socket when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or handling. Always hold the plug, but never pull the cord.
• Do not cover any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
• To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing the tray or disposing of hot grease.
• A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable materials such as curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any items on top of the oven when in operation.
• Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging materials and wipe the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.

Wash the rack and tray in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before using.

Place the oven on a stable flat surface. Be sure that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with the oven.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

You can turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the desired temperature up to 230^

FUNCTION SETTING

You can turn the function knob to select the OFF, grill lower heating or convection setting.

Lower heating:

Only the bottom heating element will heat up.

Grill:

Only the top heating element will heat up.

Convectional:

The top and bottom heating elements will heat up.

TIMER SETTING

The timer can be set up to 90 minutes. In orc for the oven to work, you will need to either up a cooking time or turn the timer knob to "ON" position (see section "Continuous cooking without timer" below).

Cooking with timer

To set the required operating time, turn the timer knob clockwise. The red indicator light will illuminate. After the time has elapsed, a bell sound will be heard.

Adjusting Time

Timer can be changed during cooking. Turn the timer knob to the required time.

Continuous cooking without timer

If you want to use the oven without timer control, turn the timer knob to the "ON" position. The oven will work unless the timer knob is set to the "0" position.

OPERATION

For the first time use, set the thermostat to 230 C , set the function knob to the position and turn the timer knob to 15 minutes. Leave the oven operating with no food inside.

NOTE: The oven may smoke during cooking. This is normal for a new oven and will last no more than 10 to 15 minutes

General Instructions

1. Place the rack in position.

2. There are 2 slots in the oven: slide the rack to the desired height according to the food to be cooked.

1. Oil from food may drip when cooking; in this case place the food on the tray. Make sure that you always use an ovenproof container and never use plastic or cardboard containers in the oven.
2. Never use glass or ceramic cookware.
3. Set the temperature as suggested by the recipe or as desired.
4. Securely shut the oven door and set the cooking time to start cooking.
5. To achieve better cooking performance, it is recommended to preheat the oven for 5 to 8 minutes before cooking.

NOTE: It's recommended that the weight of the food which is put on the rack/tray is not over 3.5 kg . Put food on the rack/tray evenly.

Convectional

This setting is ideal for use when cooking baked potatoes, roasting meat and vegetables, ready meals, casseroles, stews, bread, cakes and desserts.
