USER MANUAL CT45L PROLINE
- This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non- domestic use or in a commercial environment.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote- control system.
- The door or the outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
- For the details on how to clean surfaces in contact with food, please see section “Cleaning and maintenance” on page 5.
- Do not touch hot surface. Use the handle while moving the product.
- Do not place the appliance in or near hot gas or electric burner, or permit to touch a heated oven or mini oven.

- Unplug the oven from the mains socket when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or handling.
- To avoid burns, use extreme caution when removing tray/rack or disposing of hot grease.
- Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic and similar materials in the oven.
- Do not place oversize foods and metal utensils in the oven as they may cause a risk of re or electric shock.
- A re may occur if the oven is covered or touching ammable materials such as curtains, drapes or wooden panels when in operation.
- Do not store any items on top of the oven when in operation.
- The appliance must be used in a well-ventilated room. PARTS
3. Temperature control knob – Adjusts the thermostat to the desired temperature.
4. Function selection knob – Select cooking function by turning this knob to a desired setting.
5. Timer control knob with bell signal – Set cooking time up to 60 minutes. The oven will automatically
turn o at the end of the cooking time. To turn o the oven, turn this knob to the OFF position.

- Remove all packaging materials and wipe the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
- Wash the baking rack and tray, tray/rack handle and crumb tray in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before using.
- Place the oven on a stable at surface, making sure that there is at least 30 cm of space on the top and 10 cm at the sides for proper ventilation. Downloaded from www.vandenborre.be5
Be sure that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with the oven. It is recommended that you operate the oven at the highest temperature (230°C) on the convection function ( ) for approximately 10 minutes to eliminate any packing residue or oil that have been used for packing and shipping. A small amount of smoke and odour may be smelt in your oven during this trial run. This is normal. OPERATION Make sure the crumb tray is properly installed on the bottom inside the oven before using this oven. Convection / Convection with fan The settings are ideal for use when cooking baked potatoes, roasting meat and vegetables, ready meals, casseroles, stews, bread, cakes and desserts.
1. Place food on the baking tray and slide onto the middle position in the oven. Close the oven door.
3. Select suitable temperature by turning the temperature control knob.
4. Turn the timer control knob to the required cooking time.
Grill / Grill with fan The settings are ideal for use when toasting bread and grilling chicken, sausage, pork chops and bacon.
1. Place food on the baking rack and slid onto the top position in the oven.
2. Place the baking tray below to collect grease and fat. Close the oven door.
3. Turn the function selection knob to / .
4. Select suitable temperature by turning the temperature control knob.
5. Turn the timer control knob to the required cooking time.
Lower heating / Lower heating with fan The settings can be used for most food cooked in the convention function, but will take longer.
1. Place food on the baking tray and slide onto the bottom position in the oven.
2. Turn the function selection knob to / .
3. Select suitable temperature by turning the temperature control knob.
4. Turn the timer control knob to the required cooking time.
WARNING: If the cooking time is less than 5 minutes, you must turn the timer control knob past the 10 minutes then back to the desired cooking time. This will ensure a safe and accurate timer setting. CAUTION: Cooked food and baking tray or rack can be very hot; handle with care. Always use the tray/rack handle when removing hot baking tray or rack from the oven.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry it thoroughly.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water.
- Wash the trays, rack and tray/rack handle in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Never use abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
- Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross contamination from dierent types of food, the use of hot clean water with a mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact with food.
- Correct food hygiene practices should always be followed at all times to avoid possibility of food poisoning /cross contamination.
