How to clean the Proline OV23 oven?

Unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth. Removable parts (rack, tray) can be washed in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry before reuse. Do not use chemical or abrasive products.

What temperature to bake a cake in this oven?

For a cake, use the convection mode (top and bottom heating elements). Preheat for 5 to 8 minutes at the temperature indicated in your recipe, usually between 160°C and 180°C. Adjust according to your preferences.

How to use the oven timer?

Turn the timer knob clockwise to the desired duration (max 90 min). The red indicator light turns on. At the end, an audible signal sounds. For continuous cooking without a timer, set the knob to the "ON" position.

Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?

No, it is forbidden to line the inside of the oven with aluminum foil: this could cause overheating and a fire hazard. Use only oven-safe containers (glass, metal, ceramic).

What is the function of each knob?

The thermostat knob sets the temperature (max 230°C). The function knob selects the mode: OFF, grill (top heating element), bottom heat (bottom heating element), convection (both). The timer knob sets the cooking time or the ON position for continuous cooking.

What to do if the oven emits smoke on first use?

This is normal. Heat the empty oven for 15 minutes at 230°C in convection mode. The smoke should disappear after 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure the room is well ventilated.

What types of dishes can I use in the oven?

Use oven-safe dishes made of glass, metal, or ceramic. Avoid plastic, cardboard, and paper. Glass and ceramic casseroles are not recommended as they may break under heat.

How to set the oven for grilling sausages?

Place the rack on the top rails and the tray underneath to catch drippings. Select the grill mode (function knob set to grill). Set the temperature (e.g., 200°C) and timer according to desired cooking. Monitor to prevent burning.

What is the power input of the oven?

The Proline OV23 oven has a power of 1300 W and operates on a 220-240 V~50 Hz supply. Do not plug other appliances into the same outlet.

How to know when cooking is finished?

The timer emits an audible signal at the end of the programmed time. You can also check the cooking visually. Always use oven mitts to remove dishes from the oven, as surfaces are very hot.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instrucons carefully before operang the toaster oven. Keep them for further reference.

• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or any parts of the oven in water or other liquids.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• The use of accessory or aachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Turn o and unplug the oven from the mains socket when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or handling. Always hold the plug, but never pull the cord.
• Do not cover any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheang of the oven.
• To avoid burns, use extreme caunon when removing the tray or disposing of hot grease.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging materials and wipe the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.

Wash the rack and tray in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before using.

Place the oven on a stable at surface. Be sure that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with the oven.

TIMER SETTING

The mer can be set up to 90 minutes. In order for the oven to work, you will need to either set up a cooking me or turn the mer knob to "ON" posion (see secon "Connuous cooking without mer" below).

Cooking with mer

To set the required operang me, turn the mer knob clockwise. The red indicator light will illuminate. Aer the me has elapsed, a bell sound will be heard.

Adjusng Time

Timer can be changed during cooking. Turn the mer knob to the required me.

Connuous cooking without mer

If you want to use the oven without mer control, turn the mer knob to the "ON" posion. The oven will work unless the mer knob is set to the "0" posion.

OPERATION

For the rst me use, set the thermostat to 230 ^ C, set the funcon knob to the position and turn the mer knob to 15 minutes. Leave the oven operang with no food inside.

NOTE: The oven may smoke during cooking. This is normal for a new oven and will last no more than 10 to 15 minutes.

General Instrucons

1. Place the rack in posion.

2. There are 3 slots in the oven: slide the rack to the desired height according to the food to be cooked.

2.Oil from food may drip when cooking; in this case, place the food on the tray. Make sure that you always use an ovenproof container and never use plasc or cardboard containers in the oven.
3.Never use glass or ceramic cookware.
4. Set the temperature as suggested by the recipe or as desired.
5. Securely shut the oven door and set the cooking me to start cooking.

1. To achieve beer cooking performance, it is recommended to preheat the oven for 5 to 8 minutes before cooking.

NOTE: It's recommended that the weight of the food which is put on the rack/tray is not over 3.5kg . Put food on the rack/tray evenly.

Conveconal

This seng is ideal for use when cooking baked potatoes, roasng meat and vegetables, ready meals, casseroles, stews, bread, cakes and desserts.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
