WARNING

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

- WARNING: Avoid spillage on the connector.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The kettle has a dual voltage selector on the bottom of the kettle. Always check that you have selected the correct voltage before using this kettle.
- Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled, the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
- Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum level indication.

OPERATION
Before first use, wash the spoons and cups.
It is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
- Remove the cups and spoons from the kettle.
- Select the correct voltage by turning the selector on the bottom of the kettle.
220V-240V 110V-120V

This kettle can work in two voltages.
- Select the 220V-240V voltage for use in the vast majority of the world such as Great Britain, Europe, China, Africa and Australia.

Select the 110V-120V voltage for use in the countries and regions such as America, Japan, Taiwan, Canada and Mexico.

Place the kettle on a dry, flat and stable surface.
- Fill kettle with desired amount of cold water through the spout or the open lid.
- Do not overfill the kettle by exceeding the Max level.
- Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
- Plug the kettle into the mains socket.
- Press the power switch. The water is being heated.
The power indicator light will illuminate.
NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place. - The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils.
The power indicator light will go out. - You can stop the boiling process by setting the power switch to the O position.
- You can make hot drinks using the supplied cups and spoons. Slowly pour the boiling water into the cups.
Cut-out for boil-dry protection
If you operate the kettle without water, the kettle will stop heating and automatically switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
CLEANING AND DESCALING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Clean the outside of the kettle using a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Never immerse the kettle in water.
Remove the mesh filter from the spout. Clean it under running water and then replace it.
Clean the spoons and cups under running water.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
Regularly descale the kettle using a specific descaler.
Wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth.
