IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY WARNINGS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.

- Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled, the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
- Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum level indication.
- Make sure the bottom of the kettle and the power base are dry before placing the kettle onto the power base.
PARTS

OPERATION
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
- Remove ke le from power base.
- Fill kettle with desired amount of water through the spout or the open lid.
Press and hold the lid release button to open the lid.
The water amount ranges from the minimum amount 0.5L to the maximum amount 1.7L.
- Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
- Place the kettle on the power base and insert the plug into the mains socket.

Press the power switch. The water is being heated.

The power indicator light will illuminate.

The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils.
-
The power indicator light will go out.
- You can stop the boiling process by setting the power switch to "0".
NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place. Cut-out for boil-dry protection
If you operate the kettle without water, the kettle will stop heating and automatically switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

CLEANING AND DESCALING
- Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
- Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaner to clean the appliance.
- Clean the outside of the ke le and the power base using a slightly damp cloth.
- Remove the filter on the lid. Clean it under running water and then replace it.
- Regularly descale the kettle using a specific descaler.
- Wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth.
