How to use the kettle for the first time?

Before first use, boil water 2 to 3 times and discard to remove manufacturing residues. Fill the kettle with cold water up to the maximum level, turn it on, then empty after boiling.

What are the maximum and minimum capacities?

The maximum capacity is 1.7 liters and the minimum is 0.5 liters. Never fill above the maximum mark.

Can I heat milk or other liquids?

No, this kettle is designed only to heat water. Do not use for other liquids.

What to do if the kettle stops before boiling?

Check the water level: it must be between the min and max marks. If the problem persists, descale the appliance as limescale can disrupt temperature detection. See the CLEANING AND DESCALING section.

How to clean the anti-limescale filter?

Remove the filter from the lid by unclipping it, wash it under the tap with a soft brush, then replace it. Perform this operation regularly.

How to descale the kettle?

Use a specific descaling product for kettles. Follow the product instructions, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Descale regularly to prevent limescale buildup.

What to do if the kettle does not turn on?

Make sure the kettle is correctly placed on its base and the base is plugged in. Check that the lid is properly closed. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Can I open the lid during operation?

No, do not open the lid while the water is heating. Steam is very hot and can cause burns. Wait for automatic shut-off or turn off the appliance before opening.

Can the kettle operate without the lid?

No, the kettle must not be used without the lid closed and the filter in place. This could cause overflow and damage.

How to recycle the kettle at the end of its life?

• Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled, the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
• Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum level indication.
• Make sure the bottom of the kettle and the power base are dry before placing the kettle onto the power base.

OPERATION

Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.

1. Remove ke le from power base.
2. Fill kettle with desired amount of water through the spout or the open lid.

Press and hold the lid release button to open the lid.

The water amount ranges from the minimum amount 0.5L to the maximum amount 1.7L.

1. Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
2. Place the kettle on the power base and insert the plug into the mains socket.

3. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.

4. The power indicator light will illuminate.

5. The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils.

6. The power indicator light will go out.

7. You can stop the boiling process by setting the power switch to "0".

NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place. Cut-out for boil-dry protection

If you operate the kettle without water, the kettle will stop heating and automatically switch off.

If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

CLEANING AND DESCALING

• Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaner to clean the appliance.
• Clean the outside of the ke le and the power base using a slightly damp cloth.
• Remove the filter on the lid. Clean it under running water and then replace it.
• Regularly descale the kettle using a specific descaler.
• Wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth.
