What to do if the kettle does not turn on?
Check that the kettle is properly placed on its base and that the base is plugged in. If it still does not heat, make sure the on/off button is pressed. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
Can I heat something other than water in the kettle?
No, this kettle is designed only to heat water. Never use milk, coffee, or other liquids, as this could damage the appliance and pose a burn risk.
What is the maximum water level?
Never fill the kettle beyond the MAX mark indicated inside. Overfilling may cause boiling water to be ejected.
How to clean the Proline KTL13 kettle?
Unplug and let cool. Wipe the exterior and base with a damp cloth, then dry. Never immerse the kettle or base. The removable filter can be washed under the tap.
The kettle stops before the water boils, what to do?
This may be due to excess limescale. Descale the appliance. If the problem persists, check that the lid is properly closed and the filter is in place.
The lid unlock button does not work, what should I do?
Make sure to press the button for a long time. If the lid remains stuck, do not force it. Contact a qualified professional for repair.
Can I use the kettle without the filter?
No, the kettle must not be used without the filter in place. The filter prevents limescale residues from getting into your drink.
How to proceed at first use?
Boil water twice, then discard it. This removes dust and manufacturing residues. Fill with cold water, boil, and empty.
What to do if the kettle heats empty?
It automatically turns off thanks to the dry heating protection device. Let it cool, fill with cold water, and reuse normally.
