IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. 1. Slide the foot protection parts over the lower part of the feet.

2. Put the holes in the middle part of the feet on the connector pins of the middle plate. Screw

the nuts on the connector pins. The feet have to be directed as indicated on page 2.

3. Slide one handle over the two feet on the left and the other one over the two feet on the

right. Make sure that the holes of the handles coincide with the holes in the upper part of the feet. Put the screws (which are supplied) in the holes and screw the nuts on the inner part of the feet. The stand is now ready.

4. Turn the grill casing upside down and install the 4 feet into the holes foreseen to that end.

5. Turn the appliance on its feet to check its stability. You can use the handles of the stand to

move the appliance. You can also use the appliance without its feet. In this case, place it directly on a stable surface so that it does not fall. It will thus just be on its non-slip rubber feet. HEAT-REFLECTING LID The appliance has a heat-reflecting lid which helps cooking. If you put it in an upright position, it serves as a windshield and thus helps reaching the desired temperature. If you put it in a closed position, it serves as a heat reflector during the cooking process: it reflects the heat which comes from the heating element and thus helps reaching the desired temperature and decreasing the cooking time. CAUTION: Using the appliance with the lid closed will make the grilling faster, so it is necessary to carefully check the grilling process. After use, the appliance will cool down and you can close the lid to store the appliance safely. Note: You can also use the appliance without the heat-reflecting lid. Therefore, you just have to pull the lid carefully out of the appliance.
