General Safety Guidelines
Before using this device, carefully read this user manual and keep it together with the Warranty Certificate, cashier receipt and if possible, the original package inclusive its interior packing. If you hand on the device to any third person, include the user manual as well.
- Use the device for private and its intended purpose only. The device is not intended for commercial use.
Do not use the device outdoors. Protect it from heat, direct sunlight, humidity (do not immerse into liquids under any circumstances) and sharp edges. Do not use the device with wet hands. If the device gets wet, unplug it immediately. - Always switch off and unplug the device (pull the plug, not the cable) when you do not use the device, or when you attach accessories, during cleaning or malfunctioning.
- Do not leave the device unattended during operation. Always switch off the device when leaving the room. Unplug the device.
- Regularly check the device and cable for signs of damage. Do not continue to operate the device in case of damage.
- Do not repair the device by yourself. Please contact authorized personnel. In order to avoid hazards, a damaged mains cable must be replaced with an equivalent cable by the manufacturer, our customer service or any other qualified specialist.
- Do only use original parts.
- Please observe the following "Special safety instructions".
Children and disabled persons
- For the safety of your children, keep any packing parts (plastic bags, cartilage, Styrofoam etc.) out of their reach.

Special Safety Precautions

Warning: Risk of burns!
- The temperature of the surface can be very high during operation.
-
Do not touch the hot parts of the appliance.
-
Do not operate the appliance with external timer or separate remote control system.
- Place the appliance on a non-slip, heat-resistant and easy to clean mat!
- Do not place the appliance directly underneath a cupboard to prevent heat accumulation. Ensure that there is enough clearance!
- Do not move the appliance during operation.
- Do not use the appliance directly underneath or in close proximity of curtains or other flammable materials!
- Ensure that the mains cable does not touch hot surfaces.
- Let the appliance completely cool down before cleaning and storing.
Installation
Non-Stick Coating!
Slightly grease the baking surface before first use and operate the appliance for 10 minutes (see "Use Instructions").

Note:
Some smoke and odor development during this process is perfectly normal. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
Disconnect from mains power supply and let the appliance cool down. Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth.
We recommend not eating the first three Crêpes.
Use Instructions
- Unwind the mains cable completely.
Electric Connection

Note:
Ensure that the device is switched off. The switch must be in the "0" position.
- Connect the appliance to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz wall outlet.

Note:
It is not necessary to grease the baking surface during preparation.
- Set the switch to the "I" position. The red status indicator lights up.
- To preheat the device, set the temperature control to MAX.
- The correct baking temperature is reached when the status indicator turns green.
- Place approx. 100 ml dough on the baking surface (about one soup ladle).
- Distribute the dough by using the supplied dough spreader in a circular motion. Ensure that the amount of dough is dosed properly; otherwise excess dough will overflow and soil the appliance.
- Set the desired baking temperature with the temperature control.

Note:
▶ To keep the preset baking temperature during the baking process the green status indicator turns on and off. This does not indicate the end of the baking process.
The baking time depends on your personal taste. The longer the crêpe stays on the device, the browner it gets. Please follow the recipes.
- Turn the crêpe after approx. 2 minutes with a wooden spatula, as soon as the surface is dry and the edges come loose.
- After further 2 minutes the crêpe should be golden brown. Remove it from the baking surface.
- Stack the finished crêpes on a dish and keep warm in a preheated oven at 100°C until served.
End Of Use
- To pause or stop baking, set the temperature control to MIN.
- Turn the switch to "0" and disconnect from the mains. The red status indicator switches off.
Cable Storage
Wind the power cord around the base.
Cleaning

Warning:
▶ Always disconnect from mains power supply before cleaning!
▶ Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely!
▶ Do not submerge the appliance in water. Risk of electric shock and fire.

▶ Do not use a wire brush or abrasives for cleaning.
▶ Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
- Brush crumbs or leftovers from baking surface and edge.
- Clean the entire appliance only with a damp cloth.
Crêpes Basic Recipe
This French specialty is known as a very thin pancake. The crêpes dough must be runny.
Serve the crêpes with different fillings according to taste and occasion.
Ingredients (for 8 – 10 crêpes):
250 g Flour
0.5 | Milk
1 pinch Salt
1 sachet Vanilla sugar
4 Eggs
50 g Butter/margarine
Preparation:
- Add flour, milk, salt, vanilla sugar and eggs to a bowl and mix to a smooth dough. An electric hand mixer works best.
- Melt the butter and mix in.
- Leave the dough to rest for approx. 30 minutes.
- Before preparation, mix the dough again. Add some milk if it is too thick.
- Bake the dough as described above.
- Fill crêpes according to your taste, roll or fold over twice into quarters. For best results serve hot!
