eneral The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

1. Turning Disc 2. Bowl 3. Heating element 4. Motor housing

6. Suction cups 7. Power cord and plug 8. Measuring scoop

1. Remove the packaging.

2. Thoroughly clean the device with a warm, damp cloth in order to remove any

manufacturing residue (see “Cleaning and maintenance”).

1. Place the appliance on a stable surface and

press it once. The sucker feet will now get grip.

2. Put the turning disc on the little pin in the middle and give it a little turn to fix itself (see figure 2A).

3. Install the bowl on the motor housing and turn

it a little bit to the right until it is fixed (see figure 2B).

1. Put the plug in the wall socket.

2. Turn on the appliance for 5 minutes to preheat.

The disc will turn and the heating element is getting warm.

3. Turn off the appliance and put a flat spoonful of

sugar into the disc.

4. Turn on the appliance again. In approximately

1 minute the sugar will melt and sugar threads will be formed.

5. Now take a wooden stick and move it clockwise

along the side of the appliance. Keep turning the stick anti-clockwise between your fingers in the meantime. This way you will get nice- looking and strong cotton candy (see figure 3). The cotton candy is ready when there are no threads coming out of the appliance anymore.

  • Don’t come too close to the turning disc when it is turned on. If the disc is filled, the melted sugar can make warm spots on your clothes and arms/hands.
  • When a sugar layer is formed along the side, you can easily remove it with a wooden or plastic spatula. Don’t use water when the appliance is turned on.

1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely.

2. Clean the cotton candy machine after every use. Use warm to hot water to clean the bowl and turning

disc (The warmer the water, the easier the sugar melts away). If necessary, add a few drops of washing- up liquid and wash and dry it thoroughly.

3. Clean the heating element with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.

  • Never use metal implements or scourers to clean the baking plate. Be careful when using metal objects to turn the Dutch Poffertjes or remove them from the baking plate; these could damage the non-stick coating on the baking plate.
  • Never immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water. Never put the appliance in a dishwasher.
  • Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.
