No sound is emitted, what to do?

Check that the power adapter is properly connected to the outlet and the transmitter. Make sure the headphones are turned on and the batteries are charged. Verify that the audio source (TV, Hi-Fi) is on and playing. Increase the headphone volume. If the problem persists, press the Auto-Tune button.

The sound is distorted, how to fix?

Press the Auto-Tune button on the headphones to search for a better frequency. Change the frequency channel on the transmitter (1, 2 or 3) then press Auto-Tune again. Recharge the batteries if low. Move the headphones closer to the transmitter and point them towards it.

How to charge the headphone batteries?

Turn off the headphones and place them in the charging station with the contacts aligned. The green LED (1) lights up to indicate charging. The first charge takes 24 hours; subsequent charges take approximately 10 hours. The batteries will not charge if the transmitter is off.

What is the headphone battery life?

The battery life is approximately 8 hours at medium volume. Turn off the headphones when not in use to save battery.

What is the maximum range of the headphones?

Outdoors, the range can reach 100 meters. Indoors, it is 20 to 30 meters depending on obstacles (walls, etc.).

How to use the Auto-Tune function?

If you experience interference or poor reception, press the Auto-Tune button (5) on the headphones. The device automatically searches for the best available frequency. You can also change the channel on the transmitter (1, 2 or 3) before pressing Auto-Tune.

The headphone LED does not light up, what to do?

Check that the batteries are correctly inserted with the correct polarity (+/-). If the batteries are discharged, recharge them for at least 24 hours for the first use. Make sure the headphones are turned on by pressing the Power button (3).

Can I use non-rechargeable batteries?

No, only use the supplied rechargeable NiMH LR03/AAA batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries may explode or leak. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.

How to clean the headphones?

Unplug the device before cleaning. Use a slightly damp non-fibrous cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or solvents.

What to do in case of persistent malfunction?

8. Getting started

• Switchthetaudiosourceconnectedtothetransmitter(TVoraudioplayer).
• Switch the headphones by pressing the Power button (3). The LED (7) of the headphones light up green. Makes sure that the LED (2) is lit. This confirms that the rechargeable batteries are charged.
• Puttheheadphonesonandsetthevolumetothesesiredlevel.
  Before using the headphones for the first time, make sure that the battery is fully charged. Charge the battery for at least 24 hours before the first use.
• Switchofftheheadphonesiftheyarenotbeingusedandputthembackontothemessenger'schargingcontacts.

Note

• Ifyoucannotgetanoptimumssignalfrequency,presstheAuto-Tunebutton(5) ontheheadphones.
• Ifyoucannotgetanadequatefrequency,changethefrequencychannel thereardsideofthetransmitter.Thenconfirmthecorrespondingchannel theheadphonesbypressingtheAuto-Tunebutton.
  Togetthebestsoundexperiencewithyourheadphones,youshouldsetthe volumeofthesoundsource(TV,stereosystem,etc.)ashighaspossibleand reducethevolumeontheheadphonesthemelves.

The transmitter will automatically switch off it receives noise audio signal for approximately 2 minutes, or the signal from the audio source is weak for flawless reception. As soon as the signal strength is sufficient, the transmitter will automatically switch back on. The head phones don't switch off automatically.

10.Troubleshooting

10.1Nosound

• Checkthatthepowersupplyplugisfullyinsertedintothemainssocketandtheother endisproperlyconnectedtothepowersupplysocketonthertransmitter.
• Makesurehattheheadphonesareon.
  The battery in the headphones may have insufficient remaining charge. Charge the battery.
• Check that your TV, hi-fi system or audio source is switched on and a channel is correctly configured to send an audio signal.
  -Increasethevolumeusingthecontrolthontheadphones.
  The connected audio/ video devicemaynotbeinplaybackmode. Please start the playback.
  The output volume of the audio source may be used to adjust the volume accordingly.

10.2 Distortion

• Press the Auto-Tune button.
  -Setadifferentfrequencychannel(1,2or3).ThenpresstheAuto-Tunebuttonagain.
  The battery in the headphones may have insufficient remaining charge. Charge the battery.
  -Increase the volume using the control on the headphones.
  The distance between the headphones and the transmitter may be great. Move the two devices closer together and turn the headphones in the direction of the transmitter.
