Even if an iPhone or iPod is not connected to this unit, this unit is not disconnected from the AC power source as long as it is connected to the wall outlet. • IMPORTANTTHE WIRES IN MAINS LEAD ARE COLOURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODE:Blue: NEUTRALBrown: LIVEAs the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK. The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.Making sure that neither core is connected to the earth terminal of the three pin plug. CAUTION: Read this before operating your unit.INTRODUCTION PDX-30 is a portable player dock designed for iPhone or iPod series. The unit can be operated by the remote control. Dock terminal [ ] Connects the iPhone or iPod series. When the iPhone or iPod is connected, its battery will be charged. When the iPhone or iPod is disconnected, the unit will be in standby mode. The iPhone or iPod can be connected (or disconnected) anytime. / (Volume keys) [ ] Adjusts the volume level. Status indicator (LED) [ ] Indicates the current status of the unit.LED status The current status of this unitOff The unit is in standby mode. TROUBLESHOOTING Refer to the table below if the unit does not function properly. If the problem you are experiencing is not listed below, or if the instruction below does not help, turn off this unit, disconnect the power cable, and contact the nearest authorized Yamaha dealer or service center.Problem Cause RemedyNo soundThe iPhone or iPod is not connected firmly.
